The tour starts in the morning or afternoon at the Bath Abbey in the city center, where you will meet your guide and begin with a string of sites including Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey, the site of the coronation of the first King of England in 973. You then proceed to the first highlight of the tour, the Roman Baths. Your guide will lead the group into the Baths (if option selected) to see the fascinating items and legacies left in Bath by the Romans during their occupation of the area, and to witness the miraculous phenomenon of Bath's hot geothermal springs. From the magnificent Royal Crescent to the mysterious Circus, you see the best of the pomp and luxury of the 18th century. Jamie was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. Made the tour interactive and fun. He was kind enough to wait for us when we reached the Roman bath and had to renew the car park ticket. Thanks we really enjoyed it

The walking tour of Bath with William was great. As part of a small group of solo travellers, the experience felt both professional and personal. William’s knowledge of Bath’s history was impressive. The pacing was perfect - neither too long nor too short - with a balanced amount of information and walking. I particularly appreciated the intimacy of our small group; seeing the larger, crowded tours nearby made me realise how lucky we were to have the space to explore and ask questions without feeling rushed (I was part of an 11am tour on a Monday in winter)

The tour with Sinclair was very enjoyable! The highlight being clapping among the trees at the circus (iykyk). Sinclair was a very energetic and open guide and made the tour feel like you were walking through Bath with a friend who lives here more than just a guide wanting to overload you with facts and run through a script. Bath has many hidden gems, definitely worth the time discovering these with a guide like Sinclair. :)

This was a great tour! We got lucky and were the only two people on the tour (I think the tour size caps at 18 people), but I'm sure our tour guide (Jamie) would have done just as well with a large group. We got a great overview of the area, with plenty of lore and history that we wouldn't have gotten if we wandered Bath on our own. Starting location was well explained by the site and our tour guided showed up early. FYI we purchased tickets to the Roman Bath house as part of our package, and while the tour guide doesn't accompany you into the exhibits (at least for the tour package we selected), he made sure we were in the right place and that everything was squared away before he left. Thumbs up to Jamie for a fun, friendly overview of the area!
