For reservations made after 4:00 PM, there may not be enough time to visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. You’re welcome to start earlier or return the next day to access the Forum.

1.00The guide was not in a very pleasant mood. I think she was stressed from the beginning and snapped at a gentleman who asked for clarification regarding her presentation. I think had she not been stressed the rest of the experience would have been pleasant. Recommended company but be wary of guide mood. Rest of staff was great.

5.00Excellent tour conducted at a good pace around the Forum and amazing Colosseum. Letizia (a native Roman!) was superb. She was enthusiastic, engaging, and very informative. Great stories to explain the history of what we were seeing. Long wait to get into Forum meant we didn’t have time to go up the Palentino Hill. So much more to see - exploring in our own time would be good for a return visit. Having a guide for the first visit was essential.

4.00It was nice getting skip the line tickets and checking in with the tour company was quick and easy. The audio tour however wasn’t great. Pretty general information and it wasn’t clear how to make it work automatically. My husband found info on YouTube that he said was better.

2.00Before booking, be aware that the semi-private tour can include up to 14 people. If that’s not what you’re looking for, it’s better to book a more private option. Let me start by saying that the Colosseum (with Arena access), Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum are extraordinary masterpieces. Nothing compares to visiting these historic sites in person—they are simply breathtaking and absolutely worth seeing. That said, the tour experience itself could be improved. At times, the guide stopped in one corner for long explanations, using books or pictures instead of continuing to walk through the sites and pointing out the actual monuments. Given how vast and impressive these areas are, it would be more engaging if explanations were given while walking, allowing the group to cover more of the space and fully experience the surroundings. Overall, the locations themselves are unforgettable and awe-inspiring. With a more dynamic, walk-and-talk approach, this tour could be even better.

5.00Our tour guide was Max, he was fabulous, funny friendly & professional. Taking us around Palantine Hill & The Forum, then into the Colesseum. We would Definately recommend booking a guided tour, as it was very informative, plus no waiting in the huge queues to get into the colesseum, it felt a bit special, like vip treatment, at the hands of our brilliant guide, thankyou Max

1.00This is a fraudulent company. They left multiple families without a tour. They changed the tour time last minute and didn’t get any confirmation. They refused to give ticket, provide contact info for their operator, accommodate in any way. Their manager was nowhere to be found. Try calling their number—it’s fake. It’s run by some sketchy group of non-Italians. They were nasty and mocking tourists. They take your money and run. Stay away!

1.00What I learned on this tour was to never be the nice guy. We went through the first part of the tour, and when it came time to go into the Colosseum, the guide had trouble getting our group through the line so she asked somebody in our group for a ticket in order to facilitate getting us through the line faster, I agreed to give her my daughters. She took the ticket and then disappeared, came back and never gave me the ticket. We walked through the line behind her and the guard stopped us and would not allow my 13-year-old daughter to move into the Colosseum because she did not have a ticket anymore. When I brought this up to the tour guide, she acted as though she had given me the ticket back, but my whole family was with me and 100% guaranteed me that this never happened and we did not get the ticket back. I had to leave with my 13 year old or hold up the whole group. We left and I asked for a partial refund of the tour which I was denied. As a business owner myself I would NEVER treat a customer this way. The fact that it happened is understandable but making it the customers problem and refusing the refund rightfully owed is bad business. I hope Viator takes notice.
