This full-day Rome tour secures timed entry to two of the city's most difficult tickets to obtain independently: the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum. Both sell out weeks in advance, and booking logistics can be complex. Your expert English-speaking guide leads a small group of no more than 20 through the Vatican's gallery halls, into the Sistine Chapel, and across the Roman Forum before stepping inside the ancient amphitheater. Between these two landmarks, a guided walk takes in Piazza Navona, the Pantheon exterior, and the Trevi Fountain, with private transportation connecting the Vatican to the city center so there is no navigating public transit mid-day. This tour is ideal for first-time visitors to Rome who want to cover the city's essential sights in one well-paced day, with all logistics handled.

Public transportation options are available nearby
Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
A valid government-issued ID is required for entry into the Colosseum and Vatican. The name on your tickets must match the name on your government-issued ID or you will be refused entry.
Depending on your Colosseum entry time, the order of the Colosseum and Roman Forum visits may be reversed.
On Wednesdays and during other Vatican events, this tour does not include a view of the outside of St. Peter's Basilica due to closures.
This tour includes free time for lunch at your own expense.
We will be subject to a security check at the entrance to all sites. Depending on the volume of visitors, we may have a short wait in the security line.

Vatican Museums
Meet your guide just outside the Vatican Museums entrance on Viale Vaticano, where you'll check in and receive your timed entry tickets. Once inside, your guide leads you through the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of Tapestries, and Gallery of Maps, pointing out key works of Roman and Greek art along the way.
Sistine Chapel
Still inside the Vatican complex, you'll move into the Sistine Chapel for one of the most awe-inspiring moments of the day. Your guide prepares you in advance with stories about Michelangelo's ceiling frescoes, including The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment, before you step inside to take it all in.

Visiting Rome was one of my dreams since childhood. I knew about it from watching tv and reading books. Then I saw how collossal and magnificent the ruins were and how majestic and amazing the art of Michael Angelo were. I was also awe struck with the sistine chapel, St. PETER's Bassilica, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Nouvona Square amd the Colloseum.

Our tour guide Raffa was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgable, full of energy, and made my tour of Rome in a day a blast. I would highly recommend this tour itself and if you can get Raffa as your guide, it will be even better.

Great tour to see the highlights of Rome. Having said that, it felt rushed, but it was also Easter weekend and super crowded, so this was not unexpected considering how much was covered in a single day. Paola was great, and we appreciated her insights and recommendations.

Our greeting from Hasti was welcoming. Included a text to check where we were close to the arrival time. We had the most informative and interactive Tour Guide in Roberta from the Tour Guy. She had everyone’s attention, took great care to ensure everyone was engaged, interested and even those with challenges were looked after. Her knowledge was phenomenal, and she gave great time to questions and answers. Her personality was endearing and our group gel was evident from the offset. We were sorry the tour was over despite aching feet. We would highly recommend Roberta for a Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Trevi fountain and Colosseum tour.

Wonderful way to see highlights of Rome! Long day but saw so much. Our guide Maria was wonderful. So friendly and knowledgeable. We don’t usually do guided tours but had only two days in Rome and wanted to see some highlights and avoid long lines and this package was amazing. We loved the whole day!

Maria was an excellent guide. It is a long day of walking, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. The pace of the tour was comfortable. Her knowledge of the history of the area was outstanding, and her humour was very much appreciated.
