This Rome private tour offers the opportunity to see and discover the most important monuments of Rome in only 7-8 hours. Rome wasn’t built in a day and usually can’t be seen in a day, but with Italy Rome Tour you can! This Rome Private Tour is dedicated to families and couples who have limited time to spend in a big city, with many things to see.
We will pick you up at your Hotel, Port of Civitavecchia, B&B... coming with you around Rome to discover the Colosseum with your private Tour Guide (one of the seven modern wonders of the world). We will continue the tour visiting the Catacombs, the Appian Way, going on towards the Circus Maximus and Palatine Hill. We will stop for a nice lunch in a typical Roman Trattoria. After this recreational break, you will visit, along with your Official Tour Guide, the most famous landmarks in the world, the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter Basilica as compliment of the house if possible and St. Peter Square.

What To Expect
Catacombe di San Callisto
They were the official cemetery of the Church of Rome in the 3rd century AD. Around half a million Christians were buried here, among them many martyrs. Not available from the port of civitavecchia because of the limited time.
Appian Way (Via Appia Antica)
The Appian Way is one of the earliest and strategically most important Roman roads of the ancient republic.
