See the sights of Ancient Rome by Segway on a 3-hour tour, passing incredible monuments like the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Circus Maximus. On a self-balancing electric scooter, follow a guide around Rome’s 2000-year-old ruins, while hearing their history from a live guide. Stop for photos by iconic sites and test Rome’s very own lie detector – the Mouth of Truth (Bocca della Verità)! This tour includes an amazing Virtual Reality experience that will put you in the centre of ancient Rome.
This small-group tour is limited to eight people, ensuring you’ll receive personalized attention from your guide.

• All riders must be at least 16 years old, in accordance with Italian law. If you have children under 16 in your group, they will not be able to participate, and will not be eligible for a refund.
Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance.
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Please do not carry large bags whilst on the Segway.

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
All participants must weigh at least 90lbs (40kgs).

5.00We had a wonderful private tour (there was not enough room on the group one). Liv, our guide, was absolutely brilliant and so knowledgeable about Rome in general not just the sights we were visiting. She also gave us a brilliant lunch recommendation in the ghetto. This is our third Segway tour (Berlin and Paris) and was arguably the best because of Liv.

5.00Our private Segway tour was worth every penny. Our guide Shula was so knowledgeable and was dedicated to giving us a five star experience. A great way to take in this beautiful city when you first arrive. The segways were super easy to ride and for a private guide we thought it was amazing value for money.

5.00This was an amazing tour and so much better than I expected. I was a little nervous about driving a Segway but it’s actually really easy and so much fun. Daniel was an amazing guide with so much knowledge but also a great sense of humour and he made the whole experience fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Informative, fun, adventurous and a new experience.

5.00Excellent instructor - Arvin, who took the time to ensure we were safe and confident with the Segways before we took off. Arvin was very knowledgeable of the area and we learnt some really cool stuff about Rome. It was fun and a great way to get around a busy city I would totally recommend this tour company,
Very nice tour with our guide, who paid great attention to our safety in bustling Rome.

5.00Fat Tires Segway's staff are very friendly and kind. We had a blast doing the Segway. It was kind a scary at first when we were watching the safety video but as soon as we finished the training, we enjoyed it. Recommending to try Segway.

5.00This is a perfect way to see Ancient Rome! Mateo, our guide, was simply amazing. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and flexible. We must have traveled 5-8 miles but on a Segway, it was effortless! We learned so much in our two-and-a-half hours together. This was easy on the feet, adventurous for the soul, and intriguing for the mind! Segway tours are the way to go!

4.00Good tour. Saw just enough of the Vatican to satisfy. Audio system was not loud enough though, sometimes it was hard to hear what was being said.
