  We didn't see a turtle, but others in our group did! We saw a sting ray, fish, & starfish! The excursion was fun & the little beach we stopped at with a bar was beautiful! Bring cash for the bar & maybe some snacks because lunch is just a hamburger (or veg burger) & chips!

  First of all, they were 38 minutes late. The boat was small for the rough waters. I was gripping on the seat, one child was crying and another lady was hyperventilating. Did not seem safe. The captain did drive the boat to get us there safely. When we arrived at the beach, they started the Pigs on the beach which we did not purchase. The problem was we could not enjoy the beach or water while the pigs were there because we didn’t pay for it. There should be a part of the beach/water we could enjoy the whole time we were there and not be limited. Lunch was served right after the pigs and we left to go back to the starting point shortly after. We did not have time to enjoy the beach. The beach club was nice. I would not recommend this tour and would not choose this again.

  If you are looking for a stunning Bahamas beach full of perfect photo ops this is the trip for you!! We had the best day ever on the trip . Got a shared taxi bus easily at cruise port terminal $5 pp( just rock up n say jimmy’s buffets ) . Got a 30 seater boat (fast) transfer to a snorkel spot for a good 45-60 mins . Saw green turtles and beautiful colourful fish then on to rose island and wow just wow when you climb up the steps and over the hill the views and aqua blue water is just breathtaking. Nice small beach club awaits with beds hammocks etc , bar , Dj playing chill vibes first then more fun stuff after lunch . We didn’t do the pig feeding but others in the group did . Burger for lunch and fruit punch water and some free shots too! We’re in our 50s and the group was all ages from 20 up - and it didn’t feel too young at all- the island was so small and quiet ( apart from DJ showtime who brought the vibes ! ) very well worth it!!   The excursion did not happen! The communication was awful. There are 2 Margaritaville locations in the Bahamas. When we asked the local security staff we informed them we were doing the rose island excursion and they directed us to rhe wrong location. We attempted to reach out for guidance but we're unsuccessful. Paid for something I didnt receive. Plus my "link" for the excursion didnt come through until AFTER we returned to the ship.

  This was a great excursion if you're looking to get away from the resort for an afternoon. The snorkeling was AWESOME. A wide variety of fish to check out, just wish we were out there for longer or went to a 2nd spot. Only snorkeled for about 20 minutes. We spent most of our time (~3 hours) on a "private island" where we could take advantage of some island drinks and even hang with some pigs on the beach. We wrapped up checking out a spot where sea turtles could easily be found. Overall, this was an excursion that was definitely worth the $

  The port Security directed us to the wrong Margaritaville, we did not know there were two. We ended up missing our excursion, and there was no other option for us because we were on a cruise. Super super bummed!!!!! ☹️

  We had a fantastic time on Captain Andy’s boat with all of the crew and the staff at the Treehouse- the snorkeling was amazing and the water is breathtaking

  We had an excellent time. The water was clear and as blue as can be. Captain Andy and his entire crew were amazing. If you love to snorkel I would highly recommend this excursion. Only down side we were required to use a flotation device. After seeing that 99% of the coral was dead and dying, i understand they want people to stay off and not touch the coral. In our cases, we know better than to touch it. However the fish were beautiful, the stingrays and turtles were amazing. Their island was relaxing and enjoyable.
