We used Mark for our transfers as well as the island tour. He was extremely knowledgeable. He took pictures of our family along the way way so that we had memories with fantastic views! He was kind and professional and has an incredible love for Saint Lucia.

If you are planning a trip to St. Lucia, you must book with Mark at Rising Sun Taxi Service! Mark is an incredibly knowledgeable, born and raised St. Lucian who takes great pride in sharing about his country. He is highly entertaining and very funny! Mark was our airport transfer both to and from the airport. He came with the biggest smile on his face and hugs to welcome us! He also had a cooler stocked with water, pop and Piton beer! 🍻 2 days after dropping us off at our resort he was back to pick us up for a day excursion! Again, his knowledge and personality are unmatched! His life story is truly amazing! He is very grateful for his clients. We were gone from the resort from 8-3:30. We stopped at many beautiful stops along the way to take in the breath taking scenery and take pictures. We talked to many locals on our stops and we were able to purchase some nice souvenirs. We explored the volcano, took a mud bath, walked under a waterfall and ate a delicious, local buffet lunch with a view that was stunning! Then back to the resort. But not before Mark asked us if there was anywhere else we’d like to see. I cannot say enough good things about this man. Truly one of a kind! Huge shoutout to Mark at RisingSunTaxi—he was absolutely incredible! We booked private roundtrip transportation with fast track for our family of 8, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. After our long flight, Mark greeted us with much-needed beverages, which was such a thoughtful touch. On the way in, he even made a pit stop at a stunning scenic viewpoint, adding to the overall experience. I was initially nervous after reading that the drive could be long and rough due to the area, but I didn’t feel that at all. The ride was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free—I’m so happy I booked! He took us on an amazing day exploring the island—we visited the volcano, soaked in the mud baths, took in the beauty of the waterfalls, and enjoyed an authentic St. Lucian lunch with an unforgettable view of the Pitons. Organizing this with Mark with a seamless experience and Albert our driver met us at the airport and escorted us to his car. If you tend to get nauseous make sure you are prepared for the very windy roads. Our party had either the C-bands or taken Dramamine. Albert pointed out several landmarks to us on the ride and there were several murals of Julien Alfred, Olympic gold medalist in the 100m on the way. albert also had water and Piton beer for us in a cooler when we arrived. We did take advantage of the FastPass to get us through customs quickly.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I’d give all the stars!! Our experience with Rising Sun Taxi Service was top notch! Mark was lightning fast to respond from the moment I sent an initial request for information, was patient to answer my many questions and made sure all was in order once our reservation was booked. Mark arranged Fast Track service for us at the St. Lucia airport, which was definitely worth it! After a long day of travel, moving quickly through the airport and into a comfortable waiting van was so nice! Danny was our driver from the airport to Royalton and our time with him was full of friendly conversation, cool information about the island, and refreshing cold drinks (that Piton hit the spot!). Mark stayed connected with us during our vacation and we were pleasantly surprised when he was the driver to pick us up at the end of our trip. We enjoyed more good conversation about our families and island life. At the end, we left knowing we made a new friend! Mark even followed up to make sure we got home safely. We recommend Mark and team for a friendly, comfortable bookend for your arrival/departure journey. I have no doubt that their tours and other booking services are just as professionally managed. I cannot say enough about Mark and his taxi service. He has 3 clean and spacious vans that take you from the airport to your resort. The ride is about 1 1/2 hours and involves twisty roads. He was very gracious to my daughter as she did get car sick even with Dramamine. He drove slowly through the turns even when the cars stacked up behind him so the ride was easier for her. Truly very thoughtful! He is a natural talker and makes the ride go by so quickly. He was on time and a very safe driver. He believes in customer service and takes pride in his job. Thank you Mark for making our time on St Lucia so enjoyable for the 3 hours that we rode with you!

We booked Mark for our airport transfer to the Royalton & back. He met us outside the airport, helped us load our bags and we were on our way. Stopped at the view point for a beer and pictures. On the way to the Royalton he told us about a private tour he offered (villages, mud bath, waterfall & lunch over looking the Pitons) we booked with him right away. He picked us up Wednesday morning at 8:30am. He had his wife’s delicious rum punch as well as water & pitons. During our tour my husband probably asked Mark close on 1500questions ( no joke) and mark had an answer to everyone. He is a very knowledgeable man and certainly knows all the history on St.Lucia! Book your tour with Mark, you won’t be disappointed!! Thank you for all that you done, Mark! You made our trip very special.

Mark is an amazing host and I highly recommend him! We not only used Rising Sun for transportation but also for the island tour. From the start, with planning, I knew we were in good hands. He is knowledgeable, friendly, full of fun facts a great itinerary planner! Don’t look any further, book with Rising Sun!
