  I had the chance to be accompanied by the Nordic Unique Travels team from ROVANIEMI for a Northern Lights hunt on the night of 16-17.10.25. I would like to thank Ricardo and all the guides and guides who supervised us. It was an evening I'm not about to forget. I finally realized a childhood dream of seeing the Northern Lights. It was beautiful and I brought back some great pictures taken by the guides. We shared grilled reindeer and marshmallow sausages on a wood fire sheltered from a teepee and enjoyed a very hot blueberry juice. It was super nice. In addition, the team was very friendly, professional and considerate for my age: I am 75 years old. 1000 thanks. I wish your organization every success. Friendships from France. Martine. I was fortunate enough to be accompanied by the Nordic Unique Travels team from Rovaniemi on a Northern Lights hunt on the night of October 16-17, 2025. I sincerely thank Ricardo and all the guides and staff who looked after us. It was an evening I won't soon forget. I finally fulfilled a childhood dream: seeing the Northern Lights. It was magnificent, and I brought back some superb photos taken by the guides. We shared reindeer sausages and marshmallows roasted over a campfire in a teepee and enjoyed very hot blueberry juice. It was wonderful. Furthermore, the team was very friendly, professional, and considerate of my age: I am 75 years old. A thousand thanks. I wish your organization continued success.   We participated in the “Northern Lights & Lapland Barbecue” tour in December 2024 with Nordic Unique. While the enthusiasm of the guides deserves to be commended, the overall experience was not up to par. 🌧️ Weather & Security Despite heavy rain, ice and dangerous conditions, the tower was maintained. The departure was delayed but without any real adaptation, giving the impression that safety came after the program was respected. Fortunately, no incidents occurred, but the risks were real. 🔥 Barbecue “rabbit” Presented as authentic, they were actually industrial sausages, a basic soup and marshmallows. No real local produce, and we even had to help light the fire for lack of preparation. 📩 Customer Service After several e-mail exchanges, the speech remained inflexible: “everything went as planned” and no problems were acknowledged. Politeness on the front, but an After-sales Service seems more busy justifying than listening, leaving an impression of arrogance and impunity. ⚠️ In summary A beautiful region and friendly guides, but a Service that does not keep its promises and gives the feeling that profitability comes before sustainability and ethics.   Had an amazing evening out touring, having Reindeer sausage and marshmallows on the campfire. We managed to see the Northern Lights as well and some excellent photos taken and sent to us, some great memories on an wonderful evening out.

  The exact name of the tour we took on March 25, 2025 is listed in the company’s Spanish brochure as “Photograph of Auroras Boreales” at €110 each passenger. At 20:45 we arrived at the premises of the company in the center of Rovaniemi, we were given the mats and thermal boots, and at 21 hours sharp we left in a mini van 8 passengers and a driver. After leaving approximately 30 kilometers outside the city, we arrive at a place in the middle of the forest where there are 2 tepees built (tents similar to those of the Sioux). As we got out of the minivan, just at 9:50 pm the aurora was beginning to appear on a night with clear skies, so for 20 minutes we were immensely lucky (as you will see in the photo) to witness an intense aurora. It was impeccably captured by the photographer of the tour, Ricardo Ferreira, that our cameras and cell phones could not capture in so much detail, so I RECOMMEND for a few extra euros, make the tour that they want but with professional photography included. After the first 20 minutes in that place, the aurora blurred and after 45 minutes, traces of it remained. Obviously this is not up to the agency, so I hope you have the same fate as us. Then we were inside the tepee warming our bodies (it was -8 degrees Celsius outside) and we each grilled our own sausages, drinking blueberry tea, until at 23:50 we set off back to the city. We reinstated our thermal clothing at 00:30. The agency fulfilled everything promised in the brochure, and the weather was ideal. One of the best experiences we've ever had!   By mistake we cancelled the activity 24 hotas before but in no way let us change the date the next day. Impersonal, big agency without any empathy, and not only that, but unsympathetic. We booked and paid again the next day... I know we screwed up, but they should have looked at our case. You guide them a wonder, that barbecue with them and their good humor and sympathy and good explanations. He's plating for guides but not the agency.
