The Northern Lights are an amazing, natural spectacle, and for a lot of people the main reason they come to Lapland. Of course, you want to view the Northern Lights from the best possible location.

The tour will start any time between 18:00 and 22:00. Departure time may vary depending on the seasons and availability, please double-check with the local partner

At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays
Children under 12 year old must be accompanied by adults paying the full price

Hunt for the Northern Lights in the middle of the untouched nature, escaping from the light pollution of the town. Taste a traditional Lappish barbecue and warm yourself by the fire while waiting for the magical lights. **Departure time may vary. 3.00The tour for the price is not worth the cost we travelled for a short distance and disembarked next to a busy highway in a city bbq area. There was no light activity due to cloudy weather which I understand is not the company’s fault however there is lots of lights guaranteed tours that will refund you if you don’t see them or the possibility is low so your time is not wasted. There is many options to book a tour at short notice I would recommend waiting and checking the weather. That said The host’s were really pleasant and the tour operators great to deal with. the equipment they provided was great and the bbq a fun experience

5.00Great tour, Lena, Lore, Oscar, Vaggellis, Michal, Simona and Ricardo were all fantastic and accommodating to everyone. We had the best weather conditions of the week to view the aurora, totally amazing. Ricardo sent a link to all his professional photos the next day and you can see the attached results.

5.00The start not really the best... we arrived at the meeting point and had not registered our reservation (already paid). The continuation of the activity in search of the Northern Lights with bonfire and Finnish dinner in the typical tent was super. Very good and very prepared guide Gianluigi and also his two collaborators from two other tours that faced the evening with us. As for dinner, excellent cranberry juice served in large quantities to all participants, good sausage and amazing hot potato and salmon soup really appropriate with the very low temperatures of the evening. To conclude maschmallow roasted on the fire. Between each course Gianluigi’s contribution in explaining to all the various aspects of the Northern Lights and other secrets of this land was really interesting.

5.00I had the chance to be accompanied by the Nordic Unique Travels team from ROVANIEMI for a Northern Lights hunt on the night of 16-17.10.25. I would like to thank Ricardo and all the guides and guides who supervised us. It was an evening I'm not about to forget. I finally realized a childhood dream of seeing the Northern Lights. It was beautiful and I brought back some great pictures taken by the guides. We shared grilled reindeer and marshmallow sausages on a wood fire sheltered from a teepee and enjoyed a very hot blueberry juice. It was super nice. In addition, the team was very friendly, professional and considerate for my age: I am 75 years old. 1000 thanks. I wish your organization every success. Friendships from France. Martine. 1.00We participated in the “Northern Lights & Lapland Barbecue” tour in December 2024 with Nordic Unique. While the enthusiasm of the guides deserves to be commended, the overall experience was not up to par. 🌧️ Weather & Security Despite heavy rain, ice and dangerous conditions, the tower was maintained. The departure was delayed but without any real adaptation, giving the impression that safety came after the program was respected. Fortunately, no incidents occurred, but the risks were real. 🔥 Barbecue “rabbit” Presented as authentic, they were actually industrial sausages, a basic soup and marshmallows. No real local produce, and we even had to help light the fire for lack of preparation. 📩 Customer Service After several e-mail exchanges, the speech remained inflexible: “everything went as planned” and no problems were acknowledged. Politeness on the front, but an After-sales Service seems more busy justifying than listening, leaving an impression of arrogance and impunity. ⚠️ In summary A beautiful region and friendly guides, but a Service that does not keep its promises and gives the feeling that profitability comes before sustainability and ethics. 5.00Had an amazing evening out touring, having Reindeer sausage and marshmallows on the campfire. We managed to see the Northern Lights as well and some excellent photos taken and sent to us, some great memories on an wonderful evening out.
