Excellent day. The bistro only opens at 11 so don't go early but redeeming ticket was easy. Had to pay upgrade to use the steam room and old spa facilities but still worth it. The spa was great. I was a bit apprehensive as on a main road but inside you don't notice and the facilities are great, plenty of space. Great views from the rooftop pool. You can choose what time you eat at the bistro. We had a great meal on the terrace at the end of our spa session

Nice spasted with a special location, but old/worn and a little crowded. Also with views of busy road, however without so much noise. The breakfast at the bistro was a better experience than expected. On the other hand, the spa does not write that you should remember to bring a towel and a coat.. so many guests were disappointed that they had to pay about 8Euro for one towel. It was disappointing and another time we might choose another of the many places in the beautiful city.

Great place with mostly locals. It was a bit confusing initially, but worked out well. We did the premium lunch and service was prompt and good. Food pretty good and way more than expected. Drinks not included but very resonably priced. I tried 5 different saunas and a steam room plus multiple bath temperatures. Roof top terrace/bar with hot tub was a great place to look around. We also added a massage- Excellent- probably the best massage I've had and was very inepensive.

The poor customer service in the Bistro! On arrival we arrived at 10.50hrs to be told we could NOT register our arrival until 11.00hrs. So we had to hang around until we could register but was advised to wait at the Rudas Thermal Spa down the road. Very annoying going backwards and forwards. The swimming area did not smell nice which did not encourage the use. Then the roof top swimming pool was a small area with a bar with customers who clearly planned to spend the day there as they had occupied the limited sun loungers. The meal in the Bistro was not nice, everything had Too much salt added. Waste of money and time

This was my first experience at the baths in Budapest. I chose Rudas because it was the smaller choice. I also read some where of the healing benefits of Rudas mineral drinking water. I like the idea of coupling a meal with a couple hours at the spa. Upon arrival at 11 AM, which was the time slotted on our trip advisor ticket. We were told that they weren’t ready for lunch. My poor review is based on the fact that this experience was not well communicated from a purchasing ticket standpoint to a using of the thermal pools standpoint. There is NO DIFFERENCE between the premier brunch or lunch or premier lunch. The time is irrelevant. The restaurant opens at 12 and you can use the restaurant anytime after that. The language barrier, English to Hungarian, was hard in the restaurant and the spa. Most of the employees did not speak English. The traditions and the movability within the spa (when you eat and NO dress ode for restaurant) really should be gone over prior to enjoying the facilities. We didn’t know where to go where to go, how to shower before the use of the pools and what time to be any specific place, like our lunch reservation or our massages. You have to enter each different section of the pool by way of turn-style. Everything was very confusing. if you’re ready for that, the food was excellent (I mean one of the best we had in Hungary) and the spa pool experience was delightful. The facilities could use a little TLC, but for the most part were clean.

We bought spa and brunch deal for Rudas Thermal Spa and Bistro. We had a wonderful relacing time in the spa. In the afternoon we went for our brunch. We were warmly welcomed by our waitress and was offered a good selection of 3 courses from the menu. The food was really good we both had goulash soup to start mmmmm!I had the chicken breast and Bacon salad. The chicken was moist and full of flavour. Other half had steak with honey & mustard potatoes. The steak was tender and cooked to his liking. The dessert was to die for the lemon pie was divine and the Hungary sessert of layers of songs apple and nuts was lovely. High recommend the service was fantastic and we had a lovely day.

Lovely relaxing day. We had premium and still could not get into some areas which was confusing but overall we could get into the majority. Food in bistro was okay. Baths were good but make sure to bring your own towels and flip flops as nothing provided.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was not expecting us when we arrived. There was a lot of confusion and frustration on both sides. I believe the problem is the Bistro is not being notified when someone books through TripAdvisor. The person there was lamenting that we had not emailed them directly after booking through TripAdvisor. However, the TripAdvisor email confirmation included language that our reservation has been accepted, and to only contact the bistro if you need to change or cancel the booking. I ended up having to email [email protected] with my confirmation number after I arrived, and that seemed to help. Ultimately we got sorted and they purchased our spa wristbands for us next door. If you are planning to do this experience, touch bases with the bistro before you go. They need to improve their database setup with TripAdvisor, but notifying them ahead of time will save you trouble in the meantime. At the spa, I’d recommend you bring your own towel and footwear—the price gouging was exorbitant. The rooftop panorama pool was our favorite, and the historic steam bath is worth checking out as well. The meal at the bistro is advertised as a brunch, but it’s definitely a lunch/dinner menu—just so you know! Good food for the price, and the views are great. Note you can’t start your meal until after noon. This is a new TripAdvisor experience, and I think they may still be working out the kinks. I wish them the best as they hopefully refine the logistics!
