5.00Our guide, Jason, was exemplary and had an outstanding wealth of knowledge, sharing fascinating stories about the history of rum in the islands, from its colonial roots to its modern-day significance. We wandered through the fragrant distillation rooms, marveling at the traditional methods still in use today. The tasting session was the highlight—an array of smooth, aromatic rums that showcased the Bahamas' unique flavor diversity. Each sip revealed hints of vanilla, caramel, and tropical fruit, perfectly capturing the essence of the islands. The friendly staff made the experience even more enjoyable, offering pairing suggestions and personal stories behind each blend. Beyond the tastings, the tour included a visit to the picturesque downtown for learning about local agriculture and the rum-making process. 5.00Everything was great. Our tour guide, Shad, was very entertaining and delivered well beyond our expectations. The entire tour lasted about 3.5 hours, but it didn’t feel like it. Included 3 mixed drinks, a rum tasting (5 samples), and two additional tastings (pina colada and wine).
