5.00We loved our tour with Shad!! He was very funny and informative at the same time. My mom uses a wheelchair and we knew she probably would not be able to participate in the entire tour but would join as she was able to. She was able to do the entire tour and Shad lead us around ways she could go. At the end there was an entire flight of stairs to go up to the speakeasy and she waited outside but they were very nice and brought her down the same drinks and cocktails we had upstairs. This was an awesome tour and I highly recommend!! Ask for Shad!

4.00I recently took this tour with a friend, and it was a great experience! Our tour guide, Jason, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the island's history and explained how rum became such an important part of its culture and industry. We spent time walking through the city while sampling a variety of drinks, including rum, wine, and even a little moonshine. At the end of the tour, we had the opportunity to taste additional rums and participate in a mini mixology lesson, which was a lot of fun. One recommendation, eat before the tour, as you don't want to be drinking on an empty stomach. They do provide a small meal, but it's more of a snack, and the rum cake is just a sample portion, though it was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. It was informative, enjoyable, and a great way to experience the local culture!

5.00We had . the best time .Chaz was very informative and personal . We learned a lot and covered a lot of ground in those few hours . He was very accommodating with my friend ‘s allergies and sore foot . Drinks and food were satisfying also . I Would definitely go again . Definitely with Chaz as our guide . Thanks again . Money is worth it !!!

5.00We had a great time with Cody and Jeff. Yes, there is rum (lots of it) but we also enjoyed the story behind the rum and the names of the places that make the rum too. The guies help contextualize and enhance a walking tour into a Bahamian one.

5.00I had a fantastic experience on the John Watling tour. Kodi, our tour guide, was exceptional—his deep knowledge of the island's history really shone through. He presented the information in an engaging manner, making the whole tour both interesting and enjoyable. The stops at the moonshine distillery, chocolate factory, umbrella heritage site, and speakeasy were delightful surprises along the way. I highly recommend this tour!

4.00Our tour guide was amazing and very informative. Loved him!! Seeing the city was a highlight of the tour for me. The actual tasting part was a bit disappointing. I didn’t realize that we would have to pay more for the moonshine and wine tasting if we wanted something more than what everyone who came in off the street got. Not everyone in our tour wanted the moonshine tasting so I felt pressure to skip doing the extended version. I was hoping to do a flight at the distillery. We did do a flight and mix a cocktail at the speakeasy which was fun! Glad we did it. Just expected more for the amount of money we spent.
