2.00š„¶š„¶š„¶š„¶, me who is a 70-year-old Quebecer and my 88-year-old travel companion who are used to the harsh Canadian winter, including the -30 degrees Celsius in Quebec and wild camping in the forest for hunting, have literally FROZEN š„¶š„¶š„¶ despite our warm clothes and natural endurance.It is intolerable that tents are pitched in the middle of the desert without any source of heat or basic lighting to circulate, conditions to catch the ādeath,ā we would say at home.Despite all the goodwill and commendable efforts of our camelian and our guests, the lack of basic amenities (sleeping bags at our waists; mattresses thick enough; source of heat and natural gas lighting; etc.) made the experience ugly and unsavory. 5.00An authentic experience... our camel driver accompanied us into the desert, cooked freshly excellent dinner and breakfast typical. We watched the sunset and sunrise in the desert... fantastic! Sleeping under the stars then is a unique experience!!! Thanks to Bechir, Assad and all the staff, they were all very kind and helpful (especially to come and recover us immediately and with a bottle of fresh water... because on arrival, before the Camp, we were covered up with the car!).
