What To Expect
You will have JOY, FUN, SWIMMING AND TASTING; you will sail and ENJOY the most unspoilt area of the entire lagoon, fall in love with its turquoise color in a place immersed in the Mayan jungle. You will visit the reef that PRODUCES THE PUREST OXYGEN IN THE WORLD (Stromatolite Reef; you can breathe pure air). You will swim in the largest Cenote of the lagoon (you can observe the fauna of the place). You’ll learn curious facts about its history, the snails and our mangroves (I INVITE you to meet JOHN the Mangrove). Your palate will delight a fruity picnic, accompanied by FRESH WATER (homemade with hibiscus flower) and a breathtaking panoramic view of the 7 Turquoise Colors.

5.00Danny and Lise were the loveliest of hosts on this beautiful serene sail around the lagoon on their spotless little sailboat which had plenty of room for my husband and I to lounge on. They are both very knowledgeable and passionate about the life and sustainability of this lagoon and all its inhabitants. Lise served up a gorgeous fresh fruit buffet which we enjoyed as the sun set. There are some fabulous spots to stop and hop in the clear blue water for a swim. They supplied UV rash shirts, binoculars and snorkel masks which added to the experience. Perfect little tour for this unique area.

5.00Liz and Daniel are spectacular made us a sailboat ride along the blue lagoon, we learned a lot about the Mayan culture of the area, the ecosystem and everything related to the lagoon since Liz is a biologist. It really was a dream afternoon. The beautiful sunset ♥️♥️♥️

5.00Excellent experience, sustainable tourism is a reality with Hakuna Sailing, Liz and Dany are a couple of experts on the subject, we spent 4 hours in a wonderful lagoon where there was talk about the importance of respecting caring and making a change of awareness about responsible tourism. Definitely recommended 100%. The very nice and super safe boat, the fruit picnic with unbeatable scenery, the planting of mangroves, knowing the life of the snails, the talk about the Mayan culture and the constellations, are unique experiences that you cannot miss. Thank you Liz and Dany for your excellent service

5.00I went with my family and my in-laws, my mother-in-law was afraid at first but then her fear went away, because of the great confidence and security conveyed by Liz. It was raining for a while but we always enjoyed ourselves. The fruit was very good. The beautiful places.

5.00We had an awesome afternoon tour with two boats. The weather was perfect and the lagoon and reef looked beautiful. Turing the trip we got so good overview and interesting information about the mangroves and the reef. 100% would recommend to visit them!

5.00Thankful that there are people so committed to the environment, passionate about what Lis and Dani do take you to the remotest part of the lagoon, explain you about that world and immerse you in the stories behind each natural formation. I loved the experience plus they have a very comfortable and cute team.

5.00We had the most amazing time sailing with Liz and Danny! They are both so knowledgeable and had a wealth of information to share with us about the lagoon. My family of 5 had a delightful time and left feeling so much more knowledgeable about the ecosystem and how to protect it. We also got to help plant mangroves! The fruit salad was so delicious and we truly couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful and beautiful lagoon voyage. This is a can’t-miss experience in Bacalar

5.00Dani and Liz were fantastic! Such a beautiful tour, we learned about the mangrove in the lagoon, the ecosystem and how 7 colors come to life. They provided binoculars so we got to see the birds (Dani was extremely knowledgeable about that too) and geriatric of iguanas as well as crazy tree leaving cactus! Along the way they told us about Mayan culture and traditions. And the fruit snack was decorated beautifully! If I could go for this serene and delightful adventure one more time I would in the heartbeat! 💗
