What To Expect

Lake Bacalar

We will wait for you at CASA SIRENA, marina Wild Wave Bacalar, 15 minutes before the tour time. The captain will show up with the group and give the necessary information and instructions to enjoy the experience to the fullest. We'll board one of our sailboats. The adventure begins! We will start our tour by navigating the lagoon of 7 colors, and continue in the direction of the famous Cenote Negro or Cenote de la Bruja (with a depth of 180 meters). Our next stop will be the Pirate Canal. Here you will have enough time to descend and swim in the permitted area. Time to hydrate! We love to spoil them. That is why the captain will wait for you on the boat with a snack with the best seasonal fruits, beers and waters. We continue our journey to the last place before returning to the dock. Bird Island, where swimming in warm and crystal clear water, will make you love Bacalar forever. The experience is not cancelled by rain.

Had an amazing experience with Angel and Cecil. They told some things about the lagoon and made the experience very fun! The fruit on board was delicous. There was time to swim and relax.

Cecille and Leandro were amazing, Cecille did a great job speaking through the history of the lagoon in both English and Spanish, and their skills at sailing were exceptional.

It's a half a day activity with 2 stops to swim by the islands in shallow water. I would recommend especially for those who prefer sailing over pantoons. 2 beers, water and fruits were Good. Zazil the captain and Leandro the skipper were kind. :)

An excellent tour; we had a great time, beautiful landscapes, we swam for a while, and they explained everything in detail. Additionally, they provided us with fruit and fresh water. Thanks to Zazil and Ángel for their good service.

Irving and Carla were very welcoming and experienced. We had a great time on the lake and they even had fresh fruit, water and beers. 3 hours is perfect.
