1.00I was asked to cancel this trip and rebook : because I was travelling alone, I had to pay more. The organiser said she would cancel the first booking and Viator would pay me back. Well nothing has been cancelled on Viator, I paid for a second trip and was never reimbursed for the first

4.00Our guide Josie was very knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions about the island. Driver was friendly and funny. Was supposed to go to the National Park that day, which is why I booked the tour. It was a Sunday so the park was closed and we could not go. Was not told that until no one showed up to pick us up. I called and they sent someone 2 hours later to take us on a partial tour.

A bizarre trip

2.00We found this excursion on Viator while planning out our vacation. We were staying in the south of the island, and wanted to visit Pigeon National Park to do some snorkeling and hiking. We have since learned that we should have taken a water taxi for 40 minutes, rather than spending two and a half hours in the car. We started the trip by discovering our tour guide had overbooked and would be sending her husband with us instead, not an issue for us initially. However we quickly realized that he was not clearly communicated to about what we had wanted to do. We were told that we would have a guide with us the entire time, and not just send us off. This was not the case at all. We were sent into Pigeon park alone to snorkel, find the beach and hike. When we walked out, we couldn't find our guide and couldn't get in contact with either of them. When we finally did, we were able to continue with our day for a bit until we started running some personal errands for our guides which included checking in on their shop (3 times throughout the day), trying to meet up with the other guide on the island, and getting things along the way that had nothing to do with us. Eventually we got back to our hotel, but we spent most of the day in a car chasing all over the place. We had a great time when we finally got to the spots that we had wanted to see, but the detours to get there were not impressive. Overall okay excursion, but communication on this organization is very underwhelming.

5.00While you are visiting St Lucia, we highly recommend Lucian Explora! Naomi, our tour guide, took time before our tour to learn about what it particular we wanted to do and get a sense of our interests so she could suggest sightseeing activities we never would have even known about otherwise. It was a wonderful bespoke experience. We spent a full day visiting Pigeon Island, the Castries market and basilica, secluded areas near Cap Estate, and so much more. Naomi is quick and friendly with conversation and made sure there was never a dull moment — even while we were stuck in traffic on the highway. Later on we met up with Naomi, some of her friends, and another visiting tourist couple for the Gros Islet street fair. Having a group made the fair so much fun! Naomi truly was our woman on the inside. THANK YOU Naomi!
