What To Expect
We're the longest running Salsa experience in Puerto Rico! Led by a local Puerto Rican dancer, you'll: 1. Learn basic Latin dancing steps and techniques 2. Get a cultural history lesson about music in the Caribbean 3. Sip a complimentary cocktail 4. Dance to a live Salsa band with the locals We'll start with a warm-up so you can learn basic Latin dancing skills with an easy Caribbean step called "Merengue". Then we'll move into "Salsa", first learning about the history of the music as the guide demonstrates with local instruments. Then we'll apply those skills from the warm-up to dance the Salsa step. Now class is over & you’re ready to hit the dance floor! The DJ starts playing & the locals arrive as you're served a complimentary cocktail. As you're dancing, a live Salsa band will get up to play!

5.00Amazing experience! Angie is a wonderful, excited, accessible teacher who brought facts about Caribbean dances and who really made the whole group out of class fit to dance. The place, Music Bar & Lounge, was an authentic salsa house, and after the lesson of about 1 hour we spent more than 2h dancing with the local attendants (and we managed to dance!). I made friends, had a lot of fun, and danced all night. Wonderful, indicate to everyone!

5.00I had so much fun in this experience! I arrived a little late due to an Uber delay but I was welcomed right in and was able to catch on quickly. Our instructor was really knowledgeable and very charismatic. I stayed until after she left and one of the best parts was watching her dance with some of her friends and the locals. Extremely talented!

5.00We had the best time learning to salsa with Angie! The learning part was perfectly timed - not too long, not too short- and included a nice little break to get some drinks and mingle with the other dancers. Then we went to the salsa bar, which was amazing to see experienced dancers in action. At the same time, we felt totally comfortable trying out our new moves!
