What To Expect
Salzburger Altstadt
Upon arrival in Salzburg you will be taken for a sightseeing tour covering the most remarkable landmarks of the town. Visit the Do-Re-Mi stairs from "The Sound of Music" in Mirabell gardens, discover Mozart's birth house, Salzburg Cathedral and St Peter's Abbey in the old town and taste the original Mozart chocolate balls by Fürst. Enjoy your free time after the sightseeing tour.
Lake Wolfgang
Before getting to Hallstatt, visit the Salzkammergut (Lake Region), well known for the celebrated film "The Sound of Music". Follow some of the footsteps of the famous movie and experience the uniqueness of the tiny village of St. Gilgen that counts among its attractions with the birth house of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s mother.

5.00My family and I booked the Hallstatt and Salzburg trip. This tour our favorite part of our vacation. Balaz took such great care of our group. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and super accommodating. He had to drive in some very difficult weather but always made us feel safe. Our local guides in both Hallstatt and Salzburg were fantastic. They were knowledgeable and friendly. Our van was comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything we could need. Fantastic trip!

5.00Hallstatt loved it, what a beautiful place as it was. Salzburg a bigger place and with more people but very li d also. Our guide Marco excellent, during the trip explained everything in detail and the guides of each place took pains to explain the history of each place. Fully recommended this tour.

5.00We loved our driver, Fernando. He had a nice sense of humor and his English was excellent so we thoroughly enjoyed his discussions of history, geography, and music. He also was extremely patient when my kids donned their bathing suits and jumped in the lake! Both guides, Helga and Gabi, were interesting and thoughtful and gave us memorable soundbites rather than boring useless dates. Thanks to all and especially to Fernando for enduring a 2.5 hour crash on the A1 that made for a very long driving day. The van was so comfortable!

5.00My family of 8 had a wonderful day exploring Hallstatt and Salzburg April 8, 2024. Fernando was our guide and I can’t say enough nice things about him. He explained so much to us about the regions. The van was comfortable and the experience was once in a lifetime. This was our favorite tour in Austria and we appreciate Fernando so much. Book this tour! You won’t regret it.

5.00We had a wonderful trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg. Our driver was very knowledgeable and shared many points of interest on our drive. He was also very accommodating to anything we wanted. Each of our local guides was also delightful and very knowledgeable about their city. It’s a very long day, but a great way to see the cities.

5.00This trip was really amazing. There were 8 of us including 4 elders. Balazs was our superhero driver/tour guide :D He took care of everyone in our group so well, kind, polite, calm, friendly, very professional, and informative. We really enjoyed having him with us! We made it to each check in spot on time. The transition between Balazs and local guides went smoothly. Each local guide was also very nice, friendly, and took care of us so well! So I would mostly recommend this trip for anyone looking to make a day trip to both Salzburg and Hallstatt :)
