4.00Hallstatt was beautiful and the drive through the Austrian countryside was nice and the guides informative. The Sound of Music tour was also fun and full of interesting facts about the movie. The back to back tours make it a long day and the two tours cover some of the same ground during the drives, but all in all, we'll worth it

4.00Hallstatt is beautiful. Our guide on the bus ride was interesting and comical. We went straight to the funicular to go up to the viewing platform to take photos. After a 1hr wait in the queue we went up, took in the amazing view & took photos. By the time we got back down we only had 1/2hr left to enjoy the village which wasn't enough time. Not the tours fault but I think you need more time in hallstatt to really appreciate it. Sound of music tour was fun. Our guide was entertaining and inclusive, she noticed a missing guest when we were about to leave and waited an extra 10min for her to materialise, then we left. It was informative and some of the locations & history/ facts were very interesting. I thought they could have timed the songs on the bus to be the ones relevant to the next location we were going to- that would be a nice touch.

5.00Hallstatt is an amazing town. If you want to do skywalk would recommend getting tickets in advance. We were unable to take advantage of this activity because the ticket line was too long As for sound of music tour it was excellent! Kelsie was a fantastic tour guide. It was so much fun visiting all the sites the movie was filmed at.
