5.00Today, I took part in a horseback riding activity, which has been my favorite experience during my stay in Uzbekistan. Our tour guide was incredibly warm and hospitable, and communication with him went perfectly smoothly. The whole tour was conducted in English. He led us to a herd of horses for us to choose from. The horses were all gentle and docile, though some were a little playful and kept stopping to graze on grass. We rode up to a beautiful hillside among the mountains outside Samarkand. The scenery there was absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view. The whole experience was extremely pleasant. We rode up and down the slopes under lovely weather — sunny with scattered clouds, not too bright or scorching at all. The temperature was around ten degrees Celsius, so a light jacket was all we needed. The gentle breeze blowing all the time made it even more comfortable. There were barely any people around this area, leaving only pure nature and horses by our side. I had an amazing time throughout the whole trip. What’s more, our guide kindly picked us up and sent us back to our hotel. He definitely deserves a full five-star review!
