The island was beautiful and well kept. The food was also very nice and staff was very friendly. Spending a night is highly recommend as it is an experience in itself and travel is rather too long to do it twice on the same day. Speaking of, our first driver was very pleasant with a civilised driving style, making for an enjoyable outward journey. The return driver was the opposite: aggressive and reckless driving (tailgating, going round bends on a very steep mountain road on the wrong side of the road where you can’t even see the oncoming traffic, busy with his mobile phone frequently etc). If it had been the original driver again, it would be five stars.

We had the island for us, with people from the community but it was an incredible feeling of freedom and majesty in simplicity, landscapes, services, food and activities are a good package to enjoy fully the experience.

Yani Island is one of, or maybe the best, relaxed Island in the San Blas area. It is a relative small Island but with sufficient room for all visitors. We were there with three groups of two persons which was very nice. The island lies almost at the end in which you can here the waves of the open sea. Definitely recommend this island and to visit the area. A overnight stay is really recommended!
