5.00I experienced a guided walking tour in Costa Rica (March 2026) with an incredibly enthusiastic man named José, who can be found on Instagram under #golocalcostarica. José has an unbelievable amount of knowledge and such a fantastic way of storytelling. On top of that, he is very flexible when planning your tour and really thinks along with you if you have specific wishes regarding timing, tour length, or places you’d like to visit — all to make it an amazing and unforgettable experience. He responds quickly to messages, and I can only say: go on a tour with him it’s truly so much fun and incredibly interesting. We were hanging on every word he said. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Costa Rica- San José and another walk with José! Thank you so much!!

5.00A very pleasant and fully recommended experience. We did the tour with Pablo and we really liked it. It allowed us to discover a face of San José that we did not know, full of life and interesting corners. Pablo makes the visit very fun. The tour is very enjoyable and has an in-depth knowledge about the history and culture of Costa Rica, which helps you to truly understand the essence of the capital. If you want to go beyond the superficial and connect with the city, this tour is essential.

5.00We booked this tour for our family visit which included my husband and myself as well as our 24 yo son and 80 yo mother-in-law and it was wonderful for all of us! Pablo was so knowledgeable and engaging and he had no problem shifting gears when it was a local holiday and things on the docket were closed. He made alternative plans and we couldn’t have loved the tour any more. Delicious food, local fruits and markets with all our questions answered as well as unique stories all within a radius of our hotel. And he gave us other recommendations for restaurants, shopping and museums over the rest of our stay in San Jose that made our time well spent and really enriching. Would absolutely recommend this tour for your first day in San Jose.
