  Rafa was great and super knowledgeable. We go to everything on the itinerary and had a lot of fun. I would very much suggest his tour to anyone coming as a tourist to san salvador.

  Rafa was awesome. We had a great time with him and he showed us a lot of culturally important aspects of the country and was able to answer all of the questions that we had. Not only was he informative, but he was very friendly and we felt very comfortable with him. He went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time and was accommodating. The activities on the tour are also must sees when you come to El Salvador.

  First time visiting San Salvador from California and honestly, El Salvador is such a beautiful country. The people were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful everywhere we went. They can spot a tourist immediately though 😂 One thing that really stood out to me was the contrast. You’ll see very humble neighborhoods, then turn the corner and there’s a brand new mall with boutique stores and trendy coffee shops. You can buy 4 pupusas for $1.75 at one spot, then pay $10 for the same thing a few minutes away. It’s a very interesting mix of old and new. Per the locals, this May was unusually hot and humid because of El Niño… and WOW they were not kidding 🥵 BRING A POCKET FAN. Seriously. It saved us. There’s so much to do and see, but definitely plan your itinerary carefully because traffic is intense and drives take way longer than expected. A lot of destinations are spread out and there aren’t enough roads for the amount of cars, so expect delays and longer travel times. The food? Amazing pretty much everywhere we went. Also… travel tip: bring your best pair of walking sneakers, cash for entry, parking and tips, Imodium, Tums, Pepto, bug spray for the evenings, and stay hydrated 😅 Overall, such a fun trip with beautiful views, amazing food, and warm people. I’d absolutely go back 💙

  Amazing tour. Saw a lot without feeling rushed. Rafa was an excellent guide and should moonlight as a photographer. Great way to see the city, devils door, the volcano and do a fun slide.

  The guide we went to was amazing! I wish i could remember his name. All the places were great to see and we got a little time to check out some souvenir shops THANK YOU! He also took us to a beautiful place to try the pupusas. Overall, this was very worth it highly recommend.

  It was a great trip, Osmaro was an enthusiastic guide, he was very positive, accomodating, and had a lot of energy! Someone even proposed on our tour, so overall the vibes were spectacular. We saw many sites, ate good food, and made fun memories. Thank you Eco Tours! You were one of the best parts of our trip.

  My girlfriend and I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour led by Osmaro. I was glad the tour didn’t involve a heavy amount of walking, I would say we got around 10,000 steps throughout the tour. In between the stops Osmaro showed how well versed he is with the country’s past, present and future. He answered all of our questions and the other travelers as well. He should really consider a part time gig as a photographer because he had great ideas for spots to take pictures and was always willing to take a picture for us. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and personable. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend this tour.
