  We had our booking confirmed well in advance and were told we’d be picked up from our hotel at 1:30 AM. We waited outside for over an hour…no one showed up. To make matters worse, the phone number provided rang as disconnected. We then tried contacting them through WhatsApp. The number was active, but no one responded until the next day only when we reinitiated conversation. When someone finally replied, they didn’t even acknowledge the previous messages. Instead, they launched into a new customer sales pitch as if nothing had happened. It was infuriating especially since my messages from the previous night clearly explained the issue. They didn’t read the chat history, didn’t offer any apology, and asked how my experience went—as if they hadn’t just completely ruined it. This wasted precious time on a very short trip, and this tour was something we had been most looking forward to. Avoid this company at all costs!! Don’t let them waste your time and scam you out of your money.

  Nothing to write because no one showed up. We changed our plans the day before to come and sleep early just to left on read and ghosted. My friend who also booked it separately got the same treatment. Stay away! I requested a refund from my credit card company because these guys won't do it.

  I have to rate this honestly. I paid $295.00 for this tour and he made us take an Uber and meet him at a gas station 20 minutes away after saying we had pickup and dropoff transportation. I confirmed the night before and he said I'll be there at 2 am! He said I'll reimburse you for this part- never did. Then we arrive to the hike and he says okay, bye. I thought I was paying for a full tour and all I got was a ride to the park and I paid extra for it? He also said he'd supply lanterns for each person. We got one small flashlight between us. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. Thank God I had someone with me for once, because I'm usually a solo female traveler and this would have made me incredibly uneasy having to meet someone at a random gas station at 2 am. I'm sorry but I have had AMAZING experiences with tours in El Salvador, just not this one. I absolutely do not recommend, incredibly unprofessional service.

  It was an great tour with one of the best sunrises I saw. The view was amazing! Our guide was really kind and explained us everything about the history and other volcanos around and the coffee plantage. It was the birthday of one of the group members, the guide stopped at a market to take a cake for her. That’s was really nice from him! I can recommend this tour.

  Wow, where do I even begin?? This was the most amazing experience, especially on my birthday. We were picked up around 1:30am from El Sunzal and started the hike around 4am (with a group but not too big but you feel extra safe) and reached the summit around 5:30am in time for the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen (You are able to go your own pace as they have guides in the front, middle and back) The views of the starry night sky, the lit up cities, everything was IMMACULATE (there are multiple viewpoints) Just a warning that it gets veryyy windy at the top so bring a light jacket! By the time we got down from the hike, there were many vehicles entering and I've seen reviews about the trails being packed during the day so this was perfect as it was only our group on the trail at the time. I also have to give a huge shout out to Marbel as he was the most communicative and helpful guide that we were blessed to experience this with. After we finished, we had breakfast at the cutest little cafe with also an amazing view of other volcanoes and Marbel surprised me with a cake! I would highly highly HIGHLY recommend booking this as it is something that I will never forget.

  Marko was awesome! He was injured so he couldn’t take us on the actual hike but Franko stepped in. Marko picked us up from our hotel in San Salvador and drove us to the hike. He let us stop at a gas station for snacks/water before getting there. On the way back Marko stopped at a few viewpoints for us and explained much about El Salvador. We made it to the top of the hike in time for Sunrise, it was quite cold but Marko came prepared with coats and beanies for us. Would highly recommend booking this tour!

  Marko was early and was very accommodating. He allowed us to stop and get hydrated on the way. He let me borrow his jacket, which was very useful when we got to the top of the hike. Our guide Franko was very knowledgeable and patient with us. Highly recommend.

  Overall a good experience. Unfortunately, the Sunrise flight was canceled, but they added me to a daytime hike. The start and end were really disorganized. But I really enjoyed my driver Brian! He was really helpful and accommodating.
