New Mexico is known around the world for its beautiful landscapes. So why not take in those gorgeous views from the comfort of our beautifully restored passenger cars. You and your family can enjoy first class service and amazing vistas while our train takes you out across the high desert to the views overlooking the Galisteo Basin.

The Santa Fe Scenic Train departs and returns to the Santa Fe Depot. Each ticket includes a seat in our enclosed train cars, a complimentary champagne welcome as the adventure begins, and live entertainment! Additional snacks and drinks can be purchased.

This train has no depot stop, you are onboard the duration of the ride. Outside food and drink are prohibited.

This was a wonderful experience. Starting at the train yard located very close to the downtown area. There are restaurant and coffee if you want to eat something before the train. We were upgraded to the wine car in an old train car that was restored really well. The views were amazing and the dancing performance was incredible.

Acoma car is interesting and was happy to hear a bit about the history. Compilmentary bubbly was cheap sparkling wine. Singer was nice and a good guitar player but not a singer. If you have $ to burn and need to kill a couple of hours, it is okay. Otherwise go to a roof top bar for a better sunset view and better drinks.

Great views of surrounding Santa Fe. The musician , Caleb, was fantastic!!! Greatly enjoyed the stop for the fascinating owl presentation. Wait staff were very engaging & helpful. Would absolutely recommend all ages.

My family and I bought first class cabin tickets for the history of Santa Fe and Railroad. There was live music and a narrator. We received a complimentary drink upon entering and looked after the whole ride. My 12 year old son said he enjoyed it and that's saying a lot.

Fun, relaxing train ride but not much in the way of scenery and disappointed we didn't go all the way to Lamy as we had done years ago so a little pricey for the experience. Also, there should be adults only cars. Young children were allowed to continually run back and forth through the car from one open air car to another with no adult supervision. About half way through the return trip, an employee told the parents one of them had to be outside with their children. When they were inside they played video games on their devices that everyone around them could hear. The musician onboard was very entertaining and helped to distract from the unsupervised children.

Beautiful scenic historic train ride with perfect weather. Great schedule with plenty of options. The host was very knowledgeable and made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Hubby and I really enjoyed this wonderful experience!! The stories of the train and service was amazing. Also the musician was really enjoyable!!! Must do it again!! It was actually the Sunset Serenade but that wasn't listed above as an option.
