• The Perfect Wine Tour Experience

  Such a fun experience from start to finish! We were picked up right on time at the coffee shop, and our guide Johnny immediately made everyone feel comfortable. Even though we didn’t know the other guests at first, we ended up having great conversations and quickly turned into wine friends. Everything was seamless. Each stop was perfectly set up for us, lunch was taken care of, and the van was ready to go as soon as we finished. It made the entire day feel easy and stress-free. I would absolutely do this again and would definitely choose Santa Barbara Wine Country Tours!

  3 stops at good wineries, first winery was very generous which meant everyone had to buy food which was a good thing. the sandwhiches were excellent at the second stop.

  Overall, it was a very good experience. We have done several wine tours of this type, both in the Santa Ynez and Napa areas. The van was comfortable and the lunch was outstanding. We visited three wineries on the tour. The one thing that prevented us from giving this a 5 was that the first winery was under heavy construction. The wine and scenery were great, as were the folks serving us, but having a backhoe running in the background the entire time really took away from experience. Given all the wineries in the area, I would have preferred a different one.

  It is a delightful experience held in an idyllic location in California. The wines are varied and tour exposed us to a spectrum we might not otherwise have explored. The tour guide (Johan) was excellent; prompt, well informed, educational and a very good driver. Can’t think of a better way to spend five hours at a very equitable price.

  I booked for my partner and I on Valentine’s Day. What a great choice we made booking the winery tour. Linda was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, and had a great hospitality. We got lucky with the group we got because at the end of the trip we had many laughs and great memories.

  We went up for a Valentine’s Day wine tour and could not have been happier with our decision. This is in largely in part due to our tour guide Johnny A! While the wine and vineyards were delicious and beautiful, Johnny truly added an extra spark that made the trip a true experience that we will never forget. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to try some good wine, to see the beautiful SB wine country or just to have an awesome wine day - and would highly recommend to do it with Johnny A!

  Pick up and drop off times vary drastically. We were told we’d be picked up at 9:35 (earlier than advertised) and not actually picked up until after 9:45. In addition we were dropped off past 5:30. Way longer day than advertised. In addition what we received for the price was mediocre. One of our wineries was not very professional regarding purchases by the glass. Our last winery was our favorite however they were not prepared for our party size nor were they aware we were part of a tour. I live in N. CA and have been to many wineries and don’t think the price paid was a good value for what we received.

  This was the best way to go to wine country from Santa Barbara. It was safe, delicious, and we had a great local guide with Daniel who entertained us with stories and local info. We fell in love with the area, and can’t wait to go again!

  We had a great experience on this tour! Daniel was an fantastic guide. He was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. By chance it was just my mom and I on our tour, which we were a bit disappointed about, but Daniel made us feel comfortable and at ease! Daniel even asked for our feedback on the way home to improve the experience for future tours. I strongly recommend taking this tour. We had a great time and would even do it again!
