We got to see really beautiful murals and street art in Valparaíso. I felt safe in the van and the driver was excellent. However, I have to rate this a 2/5 because of the extremely inappropriate and offensive commentary by our tour guide Antonio. Before we even left Santiago he had already made several offensive and politically charged remarks which were impertinent to the tour and continued throughout the whole day. In his telling of the history, he deliberately misconstrued and omitted facts in a clear attempt to push a personal political agenda. A few of the things he said were factually inaccurate, which is very disappointing considering that we paid for expertise and objectivity. These types of comments have no place in the experience that we paid for and in a group setting with diverse opinions and backgrounds. The wine tour was short and only included two tastings, which was disappointing, but the winery was beautiful. Overall, we were very glad to get to walk through Valparaíso and appreciated our driver, but we were let down with our experience.

Good tour overall but lots of time spent in the van and too short of a time at the winery. Learned a lot and saw lots of cool art!

Fabulous tour highlighting the sites of Vina and Valparaiso. Stephi talked through the history as we went to each location and she recommended a great spot to eat with a great view. We finished off enjoying the wine at the lovely Emilie winery. It was a great day out.

I am rating this as a 2 because the tour operator was very disorganized. Normally, the tour guide would reach out the night before to confirm pick up time. We did not hear from them until the day of tour, this is after I have sent a message to the tour operator and our hotel called them. From the time we spoke with the tour operator, we had already been waiting 30 minutes in the lobby. They told us the driver is 15 minutes away. After another 30 minutes, we received a text from the driver and they are waiting in the lobby. They went to a wrong hotel. By the time they picked us up, we had already been waiting 90 minutes. Shortly After they picked us up, the driver parked the van on the side of the street for 10 minutes. No explanation or whatsoever until i asked what ithe issue is. The guide informed us they are waiting for the tour operator's approval whether to leave a guest in Santiago. We waited another 5 minutes and finally made our way to Valparaiso. 5 hours later, on our way back from wine tasting which was the last stop, the van breaks down. It breaks down 2 minutes after we drove off from the last stop. We waited an hour before we finally got on another van to take us back to Santiago.

Pickup location and times were well communicated via WhatsApp. The van/bus was suitable, clean and air conditioned. Camilo was a great host. Telling stories, Chile history and showing us the local mined stone, game and instrument to pass the travel time. It does take approx 2 hours to get there, but a Bano break along the way there and home was included. These stops were tourist traps but use them for the free bano and not be bothered by a little detour. The main excursion is walking the streets of Valparaiso and this was great. Not rushed at all, leisurely walking and talking, taking hundreds of photos with Camilo being a great photographer. Our group varied in ages, from 10 years to grandparents, and differing walking abilities. Camilo made sure everyone was included and stayed in touch. He gave options for short cuts for those who needed ramps, not stairs. And options for those of us who were eager to keep going.

Ramses and the driver Rodrigo were excellent. We had a full guided tour of Val de Mar and Valparaiso - unfortunately it was cloudy but we still enjoyed! The tour finished with a wine tour which exceeded expectations - many gifts were brought for family members!!
