Having a trek on Santo Antao is the best way to encounter and experience Caboverdean lifestyle and culture. Only an hour by ferry from São Vicente, Santo Antao boasts of green valleys, mountains, vegetation traditional farming lifestyle, hardworking people and rich culture, which cannot be justified by words, but must be taken in by your encounter. This is a challenging and rewarding trek.

Pick up in the morning by your local guide to begin an adventurous day on the Island of the mountains. This trek is by far one of the MOST POPULAR long treks on the Island! Hiking along the coastal, mountain road, this is an opportunity to witness life on the Island, first hand. We look forward to sharing local insights, and connecting with people. Ponta do Sol located is the northernmost point of Cabo Verde, this fishing village is a sight to behold. The activities begin early in the morning, preparations for a morning at sea to bring in the afternoon catch. Begin walking from this small port town
