While savoring up to 12 different varietals made from grapes such as the indigenous Assyrtiko, learn all about the island’s unique viticulture that produces some of the crispest whites and seductively sweet wines in the Mediterranean.

Walk around a volcanic vineyard, explore the wineries' cellars and enjoy a platter of local cheese to eat alongside the wine.

Hotel pick-ups will be done to the closest accessible areas; parts of Santorini are in a slope and can't be accessed by vehicles

The wines served during the tour are mainly whites and dessert wines, as these are the kind of wines the island of Santorini produces.This is a gentle note for guests that only drink red wine.

The tour includes plates of cheese and snacks served alongside wine-tastings at the wineries, not a full lunch or dinner. However keep in mind that the snacks served during tour will be adequate for the time-frame the tour lasts and maybe beyond.

This is an only adults tour, minors-kids are not allowed to participate due to the nature of the event (alcohol consumption) as per the Greek Law legislation for minors.

To reach the McDonald's in Fira Town, you must take a tender from your ship and a cable car from the cruise port to get to the meeting point for this tour (McDonald's in Fira Town), where you may or may not experience delays along way to get there. In addition, please note that this tour is flexible and might start or end later than advertised. Please note that 24 hours or less before departure, your tickets are not redeemable for partial or full refunds - regardless of whether you can finally take this tour or not due to cruise ship delays, long lines, or any other force majeure circumstances you may experience.

If you are thinking about exploring the rich and unique wine making culture of Santorini, BOOK THIS TOUR. First, our guide Marena was phenomenal. She was extremely sweet and friendly, but even more exceptional was her knowledge of and passion for the wines and wine making techniques of the region. As a California native, I know my way around a bottle of wine, but the expertise Marena provided and the unique qualities, complexities, and flavors of “POD” wines created a truly unique experience. Second, the wines themselves have to be experienced. Unlike anything from any other region, wine tasting is a must-do activity for the full Santorini experience. Finally, at first glance you may think the tour is a bit pricey, but when you consider that it includes all transportation, snacks, tasting fees, and that the tour company has a great relationship with all the wineries so you get the best seats in the house for all tastings, it’s clear what an amazing value it is. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If you’re even considering it, do yourself a favor and book it!

Elena was exceptional! One of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly sweet throughout the entire experience. The wine tour itself was fantastic. Elena shared fascinating insights into the history of winemaking in Santorini, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Each vineyard offered generous tastings paired with delicious bites. We also appreciated that there was time at each stop to take photos and soak in the scenery. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Elena as your guide!
