While savoring up to 12 different varietals made from grapes such as the indigenous Assyrtiko, learn all about the island’s unique viticulture that produces some of the crispest whites and seductively sweet wines in the Mediterranean.
Walk around a volcanic vineyard, explore the wineries' cellars and enjoy a platter of local cheese to eat alongside the wine.

The wines served during the tour are mainly whites as these are the typical wines of the region. Red wine will be served on the tour as well as well as dessert wine.
The tour includes snacks such as local cheese and cold-cuts served alongside wine-tastings at the wineries, not a full lunch or dinner. However keep in mind that the snacks served during tour will be adequate for the time-frame the tour lasts and maybe beyond.
This is an only adults tour, minors-kids are not allowed to participate due to the nature of the event (alcohol consumption).

Cruise passengers are welcome to join this tour as long as their logistics work out with the duration of this tour and pickup time / drop off time. This tour picks up and drops off guests coming on a cruise at the McDonalds in Fira Town - not the cruise port. To reach the McDonald's in Fira Town, you must take a tender from your ship and a cable car from the cruise port to arrive to the meeting point for this tour (McDonald's in Fira Town), where you may or may not experience delays along way to get there. In addition, please note that this tour is flexible and might start or end later than advertised. Please note that 24 hours or less before departure, your tickets are not redeemable for partial or full refunds - regardless of whether you can finally take this tour or not due to cruise ship delays, long lines, or any other force majeure circumstances you may experience.

Savor the wines and scenery of Santorini on this small‑group wine tour. Visit three iconic wineries across the island, exploring ancient vineyards rooted in volcanic soil and learning how Santorini’s unique climate shapes each vintage. Taste 12 wines, from crisp Assyrtiko whites to luscious dessert styles, paired with local cheeses and snacks. Along the way, enjoy sweeping island views — and if you choose the sunset option, end with prime‑seat views at Santo Winery as the sun sinks into the Aegean Sea of Greece. Tour Route Morning Tour – 9:30 AM (May to October) Estate Argyros – enjoy a guided tour and tasting of 4 wines. One additional winery – selected from: Gaia Winery, Gavalas Winery, or Anhydrous Winery - choice of operator: Enjoy a guided tour and tasting of 4 wines. Santo Winery – featuring stunning scenic views, enjoy a tasing of 4 wines paired with snacks. Sunset Tour – 4:00 PM (May to November) Santo Winery – experience prime sunset views over Santorini, enoy a tasting of 4 wines paired with snacks. 5.00I was visiting with my mom from Washington state. We visited three great wineries. Lots of food and great wine. Our driver and hostess Elena was so sweet, helpful and educated about all the wineries, as well as being a great tour/ historical guide! We loved the first winery, Estate Argyros. We felt they had the best wine. Sonto Wines had the best view and the best cheese plate/charcuterie. Highly recommended!

Kristina provided some valuable insights into the unique wine production processes and challenges of Santorini. Clearly knowledgeable in wine production, but with added humour and fun. Also takes a great photo of the tour guests at teh various venues. Comfortable transport.

5.00Loved the entire experience! 3 wineries, 12 wines, and LOTS of charcuterie/food! Our guide Elena was fantastic! Bubbly, sweet and extremely knowledgeable about wines and Santorini. The only negative was miscommunication from the excursion company to Viator. The emails we received from Viator stated we would be picked up at 1pm and the tour would last for 4 hours. Instead, after contacting the tour company directly, they said we were being picked up at 2:20pm as they had other pick up stops. It would have been nice for the tour company to inform Viator, and then us, that the pick up time had changed. *If you plan to visit Santorini, plan for wait times up the hill to be 1-2 hours depending on the time of year you come to visit.

5.00Our local guide, Angelo is a real people person with a great sense of humour. He's outgoing and great at putting people at ease and getting them to participate fully to get the most out of the experience. He was very punctual and had a good understanding of wine and wine parings. The three wineries we visited provided a good sampling of the area's wine making capabilities. The foods matched up delightfully with the wines, and there was plenty to go around. The sunset view from Santos Winery was exquisite, and Angelo made it memorable, offering to photograph each couple from a few different angles. It was a very fun experience and we would highly recommend it. Good value!

5.00We were in Greece for our honeymoon, and had so much fun on this winery tour! We learned a lot about Santorini wine, and got to taste many types. It was a small group, just eight of us, which made the tour seem very intimate and really fun. Our tour guide was great!
