Fira
Fira is the beautiful capital of the island and the biggest and most cosmopolitan settlement of Santorini. It is located in the western edge of the island, opposite the volcano and the two volcanic islands, Palaia Kammeni and Nea Kammeni that lie in the sea. Fira is a combination of natural beauty, social life, night life, and shopping, where you can feel the liveliness of the island and where all the action takes place. What makes it so ravishing is the Caldera view that leaves visitors speechless anytime of the day. A walk to the scenic alleys during the daytime will fill you with harmony. There is a wealth of restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs where you can relax and enjoy the tremendous view or dance and have fun. It actually owns the greatest dining out and entertainment selection of the island and the largest shopping center, too. Moreover, there are many clothes shops, gift shops, souvenir shops, supermarkets and other facilities for every need.
Firostefani
Firostefani is a tranquil, cliffside village on the Greek island of Santorini, renowned for its breathtaking views and authentic charm. Located just 1 kilometer north of Fira, the island's bustling capital, Firostefani is perched on the western edge of Santorini’s caldera at an elevated position, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, the volcano, and neighboring islands. The village’s name, which translates to "Crown of Fira", reflects its position overlooking Santorini’s stunning caldera and its proximity to Fira. Visitors to Firostefani can enjoy the best of both worlds: a peaceful, scenic environment just a short walk away from the vibrant nightlife, shops, and dining options of Fira. Known for its traditional Cycladic architecture, whitewashed buildings, and iconic blue-domed churches, Firostefani offers a more laid-back experience, making it ideal for those who want to savor Santorini’s natural beauty in a quieter setting.

Panos is a fabulous guide. He was very accommodating to take our time and go slowly. He is committed to help you enjoy and appreciate the beauty and experience instead of hurrying to get done at a specific time. Panos true passion for his work. He brought water and snacks to the halfway point in advance for our group of 9 so that we could rest and recover. The hike is challenging but well worth the effort. Beautiful views of the Caldera. This is a not to be missed experience in itself but traveling with Panos made it extra special.

A fabulous hike from Firasophina to Oia. We were expertly guided by George, who was a wealth of information, genuine and kind. The views were incredible and at a moderate grade, a very doable track over 3 hours long. A must do when in Santorini.

George was an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable and he became our friend at the end!! He allowed us to take our time and enjoy the views. Certain points of the hike were a little treacherous so wear appropriate shoes. Highly recommend this tour. The views are breathtaking.
