5.00The two hour free walking tour is a perfect introduction to Sarajevo. We met at 10.30am at the offices of Meet Bosnia. The tour was conducted in English. Our guide was Amira who was very knowledgeable about the city and had a deep understanding of Bosnia, the former Yugoslavia and the world. Best of all was that she gave us a real insight into Sarajevo. She managed to communicate the difficulties of the recent history of the city and the country in a clear way without diminishing the complexities. She acknowledged that there were many different perspectives to the events that had shaped the present position of the city. We could not fail to respond to her advocacy of co-operation and reconciliation. Amira's personal experiences bought the place to life in a way that a guidebook could not do. Of course the tour was not all about the siege and current difficulties. We saw a lot of the old part of the city and learned about more of its history , and there was a lot of humour. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sarajevo. Thank you, Amira. There is no charge for the tour but everyone gave a tip at the end,

5.00This tour was incredible. Our guide was Anya. Her willingness to share not only her extensive knowledge of the history of the place but her own person experiences was truly moving. Speaking with the locals and adopting their kind nature is the single best thing you can do in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

5.00We truly enjoyed our tour with our guide Armin in Sarajevo! His English was perfect, and he explained the rich history, culture, and traditions of the city in a very clear and engaging way. We were especially impressed by the stories about the wars and the incredible resilience of the local people. Thanks to Armin, we gained a much deeper understanding of Sarajevo and its unique atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful city!

I believe it was an incredibly valuable experience for understanding the city and Bosnia, enriching from both a historical and cultural perspective. Arna, our local guide, was extremely kind and helpful, giving us many tips and proving to be very knowledgeable. 5.00Mirza, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and informative. Really great tour. I am a history nerd so I would have liked a bit more in depth information and did feel like my previous knowledge helped fill in any small gaps, but for an intro tour I think it was perfect. Will absolutely recommend to anyone visiting for the first time!!!

5.00We went on the walk. This will be offered at 10am and 3pm! It was great, she told us the stories behind the venerable different buildings and also the respective political situation! The tour lasted almost 3 hours and was entertaining and informative at all times. The tips for sightseeing, cultural and where the locals go to eat and shop! Thank you very much

5.00Our tour guide gave us a nice walking city tour of the city. We learned history, fun facts, and good places to eat also. We would highly recommend this tour to get familiar with the city. It was really neat to learn our guide was on the 2022 Olympic team and still is practicing his sport of luge. We wish him all the best and hope to see him on the next Olympic team!
