What To Expect
Tirana
Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Tirana or from a meeting point in Durrës or Golem. Sit back and relax as your professional tour guide takes care of everything, sharing interesting facts about Albania and the places you will visit along the way.
Gjirokaster
After a short coffee and restroom stop, we head to Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the “Stone City.” Upon arrival, the guide will introduce the history of the city and walk with you to the old town. You will then enjoy your free time to explore the charming stone streets, visit the old bazaar, have a coffee, or enjoy a light snack while experiencing the authentic atmosphere of this historic city.

4.00Very Nice day trip. It deserves 4.5/5 stars. Just a couple of things that I would to differently. 1)the Very first stop was not neccesary. I am talking about the one before the first city. 2) stay more at Sarandë, it is a beautiful city with everything accessible, at all prices. 30 minutes is definitly not enough. Maybe 1-1:30. 3) if possible to add a Quick stop ( 10-15min) we went through so many beautiful landscapes especially between sarande and ksamil. A Quick pictures stop can be Good. I want to highlight the fact that everything was so well organized. As a Very organized person on a day to day, I was positively surprise. Great communication. The Whatsapp group is a Good idea. The guide Paola is great, she explains well. Maybe another interesting point : make the long trip a bit more fun. By exemple at every stop learning a sentence in albanian to use ? Shout out to the driver too ! :) Thank you so much guys !!!!

5.00We started the day at 6.30 am and returned exactly midnight, so needless to say its a long day! but fully worth it. the tour bus was full, the places we visited weren't too bad in terms of crowd as it was still early May. The main entrance ticket for Blue eye was covered in the price of the tour however there are additional fees like choo choo train up to the blue eye from car park, sun bed hire at Ksamil even if you are there for 10 mins, so be prepared for those. The Ksamil beach was white sands and crystal clear water, I can see why people call it the Maldives of Europe (although its not), water was still very cold but we dipped in cos thats why we took this tour! The group we went with was a fun bunch, you meet strangers and end up making friends with them. I guess thats also the beauty of doing these day trips. Nicely planed tour. But I feel these very long day tours are not for babies/ todlers. as we had one in our tour, you can see the child was not comfortable at all towards the end of the trip. Our guide was Louisa and driver was Jojo who were both fantastic. Jojo did a great job driving on winding hilly roads and not ones we felt unsafe! So thank you! Also would be nice if everyone gave them a tip at the end of the tour as we noticed not many did, which I think was not so cool, afterall they did entertain you well and took us there and back very safely. Thats just my opinion, you are free to tip or not its up to you :)

5.00It was a great ride, nor was the rain an impediment to everything being perfect, I want to congratulate Klajdi and also Urim, excellent guide and driver, always attentive and willing to any queries, although we do not speak the same language I always try to help understand each other.
