Our guided kayak adventure is the best of its kind in the area! Our expert guides are Florida Master Naturalists with vast knowledge of the local flora and fauna, as well as the fascinating local history! We get to kayak for a living! We never lose sight of that, and we show you our appreciation by keeping you safe, and making sure you enjoy our "office" as much as we do! We keep our groups small to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Our equipment is high quality, well kept, and safe.

What To Expect

Join us for an unforgettable guided kayak adventure through Sarasota Bay and the world famous Lido Key Mangrove tunnels. We start our tour with a detailed paddle lesson teaching you basics of kayak operation and safety! We then venture out to the open areas of Sarasota Bay -- searching for wildlife encounters with some of our favorite local residents: manatees, Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, stingrays, American bald eagles, osprey, countless bird and fish species, and so much more. From there, we take our guests to the most majestic mangrove forrest you will ever see! We paddle through lazy streams of crystal clear water under a protective canopy of mangroves trees. Our guides will keep you safe, entertain you with dad jokes, and teach you all about the the flora, fauna, and history of this amazing area! Our tour starts and ends at the same water access point at Ted Sperling Nature Park.

Great trip on the kayak with Stefan as our guide. We saw some fantastic wildlife and learnt lots about Sarasota and the keys from Stefan. I would thoroughly recommend!

6 of us, rented the Three hour self guided, since we have been here before, but new Kayak company. They called and texted us to revise launch time due to Low tide. That was great, and it was really still low tide when we launched. Our kayaks were brought to water edge, gave a safety briefing and general information on area and a map of the Mangrove tunnels (#1 to 4). Tunnel / course #4 was barely passable due to low tide, along with #2. #3 is probably always the deepest and widest if you have Novice paddlers! Go past the stored Kayaks and park there, instead of way at entrance. Bathroom on site was clean. Check in was easy. Launch and return was assisted by the staff. Bring sunscreen & drinks. Minimal bugs even in the Mangroves. Saw many fish and fiddler crabs. Mant different birds, also. If possible, avoid low tides!

What a fantastic journey! It was a slow day at the end of October and we were lucky enough to end up as the only kayakers that day. Jacob took us out and was a fantastic guide. We headed out into the bay to start and Jacob tempered our manatee expectations as it was late in the season and there had been little activity as of late. In between dad jokes, Jacob used his Aquaman like powers and somehow summoned up three curious manatees who proceeded to swim right for us only to duck under our kayaks at the last minute. Super cool! We then headed off to the mangroves for serene trip through the narrow passage ways. Lots of fish and other water beings (conch, jellyfish and Cassiopeias) as well an abundance of facts and stories from Jacob about life in the mangroves. All in all it was a fantastic day that I would highly recommend to anyone without hesitation! Book it now!

What an amazing day on the water! Our guide Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We saw cormorants diving under the kayaks and actually feeding on fish. We also saw an Osprey dive and catch a fish as well. It was like being in a Nat Geo special! Love it, highly recommend!

Steffan was an excellent guide, he was very knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife, and also had some fun history stories. Going through the mangroves themselves was such a cool and peaceful experience. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area!
