There was lots of food. Take leftovers whenever possible or you might be uncomfortably full or not able to sample everything.

We had an excellent tour with Indulge Boise Food Tours and our guide, Stephanie. You may be surprised, but Boise has quite a restaurant scene for foodies! While the city may lack a defining food genre (other than potatoes and Basque cuisine), the tour's restaurants and food/drink choices showed a creativity among local chefs (and yes, potatoes and Basque food snuck onto our menu). Our tour included four distinct stops, and while several restaurant choices might be on most popular Boise lists, others uneearthed options we wouldn't have otherwise discovered. When visiting Boise, consider booking this or any of Indulge's various food tour options on Day One of your visit. It's a great way to sample local restaurants, and revisit your favorites again later during your stay (that's what we did!). While the tour was "all about the food", our guide provided plenty of Boise/Idaho history, culture, and geography elements throughout, further boosting the value of making this food tour a high priority booking when visiting Boise.
