  We rented Villa Surya in Sayulita, managed by PAU Property Care and owned by Alessandra Prosperi, and did not have hot water in the showers for the entire stay. We reported this issue repeatedly while we were there. Each time, management dismissed our complaints and stated that the housekeeper “insisted” the water was hot, effectively accusing us of lying. This was not true — we did not have a single hot shower during our stay. When a technician was finally sent to the property, he confirmed the real issue: the water heater was too small and installed too low in the house to supply hot water to the upper floors. This confirmed that the problem was structural and not user-related. The lack of hot water itself was unacceptable, but what made the experience far worse was the repeated denial of a basic habitability issue until an independent technician confirmed what we had been reporting all along. Future renters should exercise caution, ask very specific questions about hot water capacity in multi-level homes, and think carefully before booking or paying through methods that offer no consumer protection. These owners ask to be paid by Zelle - think twice about doing that. I asked for a 10% refund for the stay and they refused to even consider it.

  This was a totally amazing experience! Easy to use ATV's (even if you've never driven one before) on some super fun trails with a really good group of guides. Even took us for a rip through Sayulita and the cemetary, great little sightseeing trip and a cool way to see areas you would never see. And the tequila tasting afterwards was fantastic as well!

• Perfect ATV tour and tequila experience

  We booked the trip through TripAdvisor who assured us that we would have a ride out to the tour but they did not tell the company that we needed transportation so nobody showed up to pick us up. Thankfully, we were able to get an uber to the ranch and were greeted warmly by the staff. They apologized for not getting the transportation message but provided a ride back to our accommodation after the tour for less than the cost of the uber. We booked the early tour and were lucky enough to have the entire thing to ourselves. Danny, our guide, was phenomenal. I had never ridden an ATV before and he explained everything clearly and kindly. He was very attentive and made us feel safe while also having a great time. We went through the jungle and some small farms, up to a beautiful viewpoint. Then back down through Sayulita along the coast. It was absolutely amazing to see the different types of terrain along with a sneak peek of the cute beach town. When we arrived back to the ranch, the photographer had taken great pictures for a reasonable price so we purchased them all. Super convenient to have them airdropped right to our phones! We were told to enjoy the pool and whatever else was available. We made our way over to the tequila tasting which was OUTSTANDING. We learned a lot and the tequila was incredible. It was such a great day, we got lucky with a “private” tour and made it out of there just before a big group arrived. I’d absolutely do the experience again. Make sure to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting dirty in, sneakers and perhaps a bathing suit if you’d like to lay by the pool at the ranch after your tour.   We first booked the Atv tour guide which was amazing. Danny was a great guide. So thinking this went great I would attempt another tour which was beach hopping and fishing. I didn’t get neither. They were trolling for 3 hours and then we didn’t get to get to any hidden or nice Beaches. I just felt very ripped off. Now if you want to go fishing I recommend you go with Sayulita2 with Chawin (Juan) we caught 9 mahi Mahis him and Arturo are great people.

  Fabulous ATV tour adventure with the team here! Shout out to Danny and the photographer for a super special time. We went in rainy season in August and had a very safe, fun trip to the most scenic look out points. They adjusted for our skill level as first time drivers and were attentive the whole time. Could not be happier with our experience.
