Involves a lot of driving and stops are focused only on getting a photo, not seeing the sights. Tour guide Terry was very good, best part of the tour! Our boat tour at Loch Ness was cancelled due to wind and then the castle was also cancelled which was disappointing. The only food stops provided are at convenience stores for a quick sandwich and we were expecting a good spot to enjoy some lunch with views. We were hungry by the afternoon. Views are nice but feels like you just drive past and don’t get to really experience being in the highlands of Scotland.

Very fun , fast tour. I came with friends to Edinburgh and planned this at the last minute. I loved the fluffy cows. Wished it would be longer at fluffy cows. Enjoyed the cruise and seeing castle. The tour girly was very enthusiastic and knew lots about the history.

This experience was AMAZING. The best thing I’ve done in Edinburgh hands down. Stephen B. made the time enjoyable and we learned a lot. The drive does make for a long day but there are plenty of stops to break everything up. It went by much faster than I had anticipated and I found myself sad when it was over. The views are phenomenal and paying the extra money for the Loch Ness cruise and castle was totally worth it. I’d recommend this to any of my family and friends. I think it’s important not to just see the city of Edinburgh but to get out and learn about the Highlands and see just how gorgeous they are.
