Our family has been taking out nature tours with Kayaks since 2011 successfully showing the natural side of the island. Mykonos for us is much more than the parties and villas. Its an Island with magical coves and beaches,a vibrant sea life and a vast splattering of wild herbs and stories of locals and their livelihood.

What To Expect

Come out on the Mykonian Sea with a local family of professional kayakers that love the natural side of Mykonos. Away from the crowds, the fancy sunbeds and the party's. We consider our trips much more than "just" a kayak trip. Its a guided tour from professional local nature guides through the Protected Natural Beauty zone(since 1995)of Mykonos with a closer look at the nature, the unique flora and fauna of this beautiful wind swept island of dazzling blue sea and magical coves.

I went to Mykonos with my husband and 2 adult children. I wasn’t sure how this excursion would be after we arrived and realized Mykonos was much more of a beach/party vibe than I would have expected. We went a head with the tour and were introduced to a whole other side of the island that was beautiful, natural and a bit more slow paced. The family that runs these kayaking tours was absolutely the best! They shared their history, love of Mykonos and nature. It was easy for my family to participate as we are all experienced kayakers but brothers Nikos and Alex gave everyone a lesson first and were pros at making sure everyone was interested and on pace. We had prearranged transportation through our tour company but Mykonos Outdoors also gave us the option to get picked up. That is helpful in Mykonos because much of the island doesn’t have walking paths and during busy season it can be difficult to get a taxi. Highly recommended!!!

Alex and Nikos are fabulous hosts and have a wonderful kayaking company. We enjoyed our morning with both of them (Nikos picked us up, Alex was our kayak guide). If you’re thinking about kayaking go with these brothers and their company, Mykonos Outdoors, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful morning on this kayak trip. Both Nicholas and Alex were so friendly and fun, we enjoyed getting to know about their background. Nicholas provided pick up service and was prompt and accomodating. Alex was very knowledgeable about the island and the area we kayaked to. He provided water and a delicious snack - kalathaki. We had a lot of fun, I highly recommend you book with this company! You won’t regret it!

This was by far the best excursion we have done in several years. Nikos and Alex were excellent guides. We got to explore the quieter side of the island, snorkeling, finding star fish and sea urchins, traditional Greek treats and pick local herbs. Afterwards we got a personal escort to a local cafe and later beautiful photos/videos sent. We would definitely do this again give it the highest recommendation! A wonderful family run business!

This was by far our favorite excursion in years. Nikos and Alex were so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed experiencing the quiet side of the island with snorkeling, picking local herbs and of course kayaking. The treats were amazing. Especially the traditional cake. Afterwards we were guided personally to a cafe and later sent all of the photos and videos. Would definitely do this again!

I went with my dad and we had a great time!! Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable about the area and taught us about the local plants, rocks, and history of the area. We also got to try a local desert which was super yummy. He was aided by Chuchu, who I understand had recently starting with the company and is lovely. We also got to snorkel and see a bunch of fish. The water was so clear and gorgeous in many areas. A must do!!

This is a sea kayak tour where you will stopping at a few beaches along the way learning a little bit about the island such as how some areas are protected. Got to learn about some local wild herbs which was a plus. You get to an island where there is a cove you get to go into and take some pictures while learning the history of it. Then you get to kayak back while hitting some other beaches and get to enjoy some local pastry’s and you get the opportunity to go snorkeling then you get to kayak back to where you launched from. Overall great experience all around transportation was organized by the family we got picked up at our hotel and driven to the boat launch and was given a very fair rate because sometimes the taxi prices could be inconsistent. The family running this tour was very welcoming and informative. I would recommend this tour if you enjoy kayaking and like learning about the area you’re on vacation. The kayaking wasn’t too bad and beginner friendly.

Absolutely incredible! We had the best time! Alex was a fantastic host and tour guide. He made our tour so special and full of interesting facts and history. He also took tons of pictures of us too which we received the same day - I really appreciate that! The sea was beautiful and calm. Definitely recommend this experience!!

Our group of six had an amazing adventure with our guide, Alex! We enjoyed the scenery, pace, commentary, snacks, and follow up photos. This family run business is a quality outfit, I hope we get to return and do it again! What a way to experience the beautiful island of Mykonos.
