I absolutely loved this tour but I grew up on a farm in the states. We visited an old growth forest, drove through the farm and a windmill area on the way to the beach where seals were lounging. Birds, shells, seaweed galore and a spot of tea to boot!

Excellent alternative to the same excursion on Viking (and save a bit of $). Great communication from Chewy aka Michael Chew, owner. Ross, our guide, was fun, entertaining and informative. Picked up promptly on pier to meet up with our group in Wellington, and returned to the pier right on time. Highly recommend!

We had a great morning tour visiting Tongue Point and the Fur Seal colony that this area is home to. Ross, our guide was knowledgeable and professional. We would recommend this tour.

This is the second time that have done this tour. We enjoyed it just as much as we did several years ago. Ross, our guide was fantastic, he was extremely informative and very helpful with some participants who mobility issues. Note to anyone with mobility issues, there is a high step up to the vehicle and the beach where the seals are, is very rocky and uneven.

This was the second time doing this tour, and it was everything I remembered and more! Our guide, Ross, was really knowledgeable and friendly, and we learned so much about native NZ wildlife and agriculture! Pick up and drop off were both easy and on-time! Picturesque views, the opportunity to see seals, and learn a bunch along the way. Definitely do this tour to experience Wellington beyond the typical tourist spots!
