This experience was unique and a special one. I returned with so many memories and wonderful knowledge of Iceland, although I explored just a part of it. Given I was there for just a day, there is nothing more I could have seen or done better. I explored two stunning lakes, two powerful geothermal springs, wonderful cliffs holding against the mighty Atlantic ocean and the amazing Blue Lagoon. It was a busy 8 hours trip in a comfortable SUV with my host, Thor. Regarding Thor, he is probably one of the best guides I have had. He is humble and with a vast knowledge of Iceland (geography, geology, flora, fauna and a lot more). He has a passion for nature and great respect for the Icelandic aura. He keeps you busy with his folklores and Icelandic jokes, but always gives you a moment of peace to absorb the beauty around you, when required. Thor genuinely wants you to have an experience that's worth the money you are spending. He is a great photographer as well and takes many pictures of you and nature, which he could share with you afterward. I would definitely recommend this experience to my fellow travelers.

My adult son and I recently did a city tour of Scandinavia. While in Reykjavík we took an unplanned tour of the the Icelandic countryside with Thor. It was one of the highlights of our two week vacation. Thor was knowledgeable, personable and extremely focused on ensuring we had a great experience. I would highly recommend him and would gladly tour again with him.

Absolutely wonderful! Thor was charming and knowledgeable, and the small group experience was perfect. Well worth the price. I hope to go on more tours with Thor!
