Discover the beauty of Marlborough your way. Rent a bike from us and enjoy your own self-guided wine tour. We’ll set you up with quality equipment and send you on your way with all the recommendations, tips and hints you need to craft your own unforgettable Marlborough wine adventure.
During Winter (June, July & August) rain or shine you’re covered:
should winter weather roll in, your adventure continues! We’ll provide van support (and umbrellas) to two points on the wine trail, giving easy walking access to up to 8 stops:

Your full day hire includes a bike, helmet, Hi-Viz vest, wine map and pick up from your local accommodation.
Tandems, child tagalong bikes, trailers, baby seats and E-Bikes are also available as an optional paid upgrade option.

What To Expect
Explore Marlborough Wine Tours
Having been picked up from your accommodation you will be taken to Explore Marlborough's base at the Vines Village where you will be set up on your bike, given a helmet and a hi-viz vest. The Vines Village has restrooms, a cafe and a cellar door.

5.00What an awesome experience - biking around the vineyards of Marlborough is pure genius and it is fully legal to drink wine and bike! The team at Marlborough Wine Tours were awesome and our bikes good quality. They'll guide your through the choice of wineries and give tips and advice on what's open and what's on on the day of your tour. The area has well developed bike lanes and routes and majority of wineries are within biking distance, so your only problem and challenge is choosing which ones to visit. We loved the experience so much we booked a second day with the bikes! You could be picked up from your accommodation, we opted to drive ourselves, try to get there a bit earlier, so you do not clash with the groups which arrive by shuttle would be our only recommendation. Oh yes - and the coffee in the Vines Cafe is excellent!

5.00What a great experience, we were looked after from being picked up at our camp site, a quick briefing and then off on our e-bikes to explore. No need to worry about how to carry the wine you buy as they pick it up for you and it’s there ready for you when you catch the bus home Fabulous day provided by a fabulous team

5.00We had a fabulous day touring the wineries. It would great to be picked up directly from your hotel, brought to the Vinery, given an overview of the wineries, with suggestions on places for lunch, best route to maximize your day. Great staff!! We attempted to explore the wineries on our own having rented bikes from a shop in downtown Blenheim. Do not make our mistake, the highways leading into wine country are busy with next to no shoulder. This tour is the same price and you’ll love being shuttled into the region and enjoy the beautiful & quiet bike paths. We highly recommend this tour!!

5.00We were picked up at exactly the time they said they would, right from our accommodation. The tour was fantastic and the wineries and restaurant they recommended were top notch. The countryside is rural and very picturesque. Loved it!

5.00From booking communication was great. We were collected on time by a very nice member of staff. We were given a detailed briefing and issued with a map. We were given plenty of hints and tips which were great. The bikes were well maintained and easy to use.The vineyards we visited were very welcoming and we had a fabulous day. Thank you to all involved.

4.00It was a fun experience to e-bike among vineyards. It started blowing so the electricity was needed. The vineyards are located on a plateau so it was easy to get around.

5.00Had a great time riding around a few cellar doors and sampling the wines. The bikes were in good condition and easy to ride. Nice easy ride between the vineyards, a lot of it off road or quiet roads. The all day tour allowed us to visit 5 places and have a leisurely lunch at one of them
