5.00Our family thoroughly enjoyed this Eagle preserve float trip. Our raft guide, Zack, was very knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic about his hometown of Haines, and we learned a lot along the way. We were lucky enough to see a lot of bald eagles, a bear, a moose and lots of other animals. The scenery was picturesque and Zack/Becky went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. There was no paddling and the guides took care of getting us safely downstream. The water was very calm (no rapids as this was a float trip) and the weather couldn’t have been better. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxed and leisurely way of seeing a side of Alaska that many tourists will not see.
