Gyeongbokgung Palace
[Gwanghwamun square -> Gyeongbokgung palace] Royal Guard Changing Ceremony: Watch the colorful and disciplined reenactment of the Joseon Dynasty’s guard duty at Gwanghwamun Gate. Architectural Storytelling: Discover the hidden symbols behind the Geunjeongjeon Hall and the peaceful Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. Photo Spot: Get your "Best Photo of the Day" with the grand palace and mountains in the background. Entrance fee KRW3,000 (USD2) to be paid on site. (Not available on Tuesdays - alternate palace visit can be arranged)
Bukchon Hanok Village
Walking through History: Stroll through the narrow, winding alleys lined with hundreds of traditional Korean houses (Hanoks). Authentic Local Life: See how people still live in these beautiful heritage homes today. Hidden Viewpoints: I will take you to my secret spots where you can see the stunning contrast between the old Hanoks and the modern Seoul skyline.

5.00Stella had an exceptional knowledge about the Gyeongbok palace and surrounding area. She shared with us rare and special insights (incl. photo zones) not known to many. Her anecdotes and historical narrative made the tour much more fun and engaging. Moreover, her friendly smile and warm manner made her a delightful company. Stella’s recommendations on restaurants and key places to visit were an absolute winner as well.

I learned so many things from her about history, current trends, and contemporary culture in Korea. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what she is doing.
