Korea's most popular ghost tour! One of the top things to do in Seoul. This is the side of Seoul that you won’t find in the tourism brochures. Take a tour down the dark alleys of Seoul's forgotten 600-year history of bloody massacres, seedy hideaways and mourning ghosts. Self-proclaimed clairvoyants on the tour have reported a few sightings, including a little girl who has been seen following the group around. This is not only a ghost tour, but a walk unearthing Seoul's murky and violent past, making the city much more interesting and intimate. Guests also receive an online map of all the haunts, murder sites, and torture chambers mentioned on the tour.
IMPORTANT: Content is rated PG-13. There are some stories of sex & violence. Parents and those with sensitive ears take caution.

5.00Shawn was our guide. He was an excellent story teller who was able to engage our group. He blended folklore and urban legends well and keep us all interested to the end. The walk was well-paced and Shawn was attentive to those amongst who needed more time with the hilly terrain which was much appreciated. It was also very nice of him to follow up with an email with details of what we saw along the way.

5.00The tour was great, Shawn was a cool guide and the stories were good. Take a walk on the spooky side and discover the tales hidden behind the streets. Shawn is a folklore passionate and makes it really easy to scratch what’s under the surface. I would definitely recommend doing the tour while you’re in Seoul.

5.00Excellent tour! Highly recommend. The guide was so knowledgeable, an engaging story teller, and took us to so many places we never would've seen on our own. It's a really unique way to see and learn about Seoul that you don't get on the more traditional/touristy tours.

5.00It was my second time participating in the tour with Shawn as our tour guide and I highly recommend this experience to everyone! I took my friend with me as it was her first time in Seoul, but for my second time the experience was equally amazing. The tour changes with time as the city and participants are changing. Very educational and funny trip. You should definetely make it your evening activity and don't leave it for the last day of your stay, cause you might want to visit those places again and the daytime xx

5.00This is a great walking tour. It is a lot of walking so you have two options for the time which I think is a smart option for people. We did the extended and it was well worth the extra time. Our guide was so knowledgeable and funny. I laughed out loud and will never forget his story about the virgins - factual and wowza. Anyway, definitely worth it and highly recommend!

5.00We took the extended classic tour with Joe on our first evening in Seoul, and it was a great way to get a first impression! Joe took us to many different sites that were beautiful or charming, historical or modern, and all came with a peppering of stories and insightful background information. Recommended, whether you are looking for ghosts or for a view of the city that is hard to find as a visitor.

5.00Booked this the week we landed in Seoul. Shawn was our tour guide and was happy to answer all questions and hypothesize on theories around the origin stories of ghosts and monsters. Suffice to say he was a good sport and was super welcoming. Overall, great tour. Would recommend. If we’re ever back in Seoul, we are definitely going to check out other tours they offer.

Shawn is an amazing guide, knowledgeable, engaging, and funny, it almost felt like the nearly two hours we spent on the tour went by too fast. Absolutely recommend it to anyone who’s interested in folklore, myths, and spooky things.
