Korea's most popular ghost tour! One of the top things to do in Seoul. This is the side of Seoul that you won’t find in the tourism brochures. Take a tour down the dark alleys of Seoul's forgotten 600-year history of bloody massacres, seedy hideaways and mourning ghosts. Self-proclaimed clairvoyants on the tour have reported a few sightings, including a little girl who has been seen following the group around. This is not only a ghost tour, but a walk unearthing Seoul's murky and violent past, making the city much more interesting and intimate. Guests also receive an online map of all the haunts, murder sites, and torture chambers mentioned on the tour.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Joe was an amazing tour guide! Super knowledgable and funny! We had the best time learning about folklore and history in Seoul and got to see some sights that locals don't even know are there! Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to see a darker side of Seoul and experience an enriching walk through Seoul's history (literally). Also highly recommend the Dark Side of Seoul podcast, it's a great way to gain even more knowledge of Korea's history.

We learned alot of interesting things about Seoul that we never knew despite my wife studying here for several years. He was deeply knowledgeable not only about the tour group but also our questions on the upcoming elections, good spots to eat, and side historical questions. Unfortunately no ghosts visited us this night, but he kept up a cool, spooky vibe and we learned a ton about the area that even locals didnt know.

Not super spooky per se but Shawn is a great storyteller and truly an expert in his field. He was captivating and you can tell he’s passionate about his work. It’s a fun way to hear about Korean urban legends and it’s a great nighttime activity. It is a decent amount of walking so wear comfortable shoes! I definitely recommend !

Prepare yourself - pray to the gods, ask support from the angels, bring gifts to the demons and spit three times over your left shoulder. And then enjoy the ride:) Stories may be spooky but luckily Shawn is not. He is professionally knowledgeable, really well spoken and has passion for folklore.
