Korea's most popular ghost tour! One of the top things to do in Seoul. This is the side of Seoul that you won’t find in the tourism brochures. Take a tour down the dark alleys of Seoul's forgotten 600-year history of bloody massacres, seedy hideaways and mourning ghosts. Self-proclaimed clairvoyants on the tour have reported a few sightings, including a little girl who has been seen following the group around. This is not only a ghost tour, but a walk unearthing Seoul's murky and violent past, making the city much more interesting and intimate. Guests also receive an online map of all the haunts, murder sites, and torture chambers mentioned on the tour.
IMPORTANT: Content is rated PG-13. There are some stories of sex & violence. Parents and those with sensitive ears take caution.

5.00This was my 1st time in Seoul, and the 1st tour I’ve ever done in my life and it was amazing! Shawn was a phenomenal tour guide and made the experience worth every penny. I was traveling solo and 2 other couples were in the group but I didn’t feel left out at all. Shawn’s storytelling was next level. I don’t really believe in ghosts but his stories sent chills down my spine. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, you will love this tour. I cannot speak highly enough of it. Come experience it for yourself! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00We met up with our tour guide and host Shawn at 8 pm. Shawn’s knowledge of Korean folklore, traditions and beliefs is unquestionable. On the walk/tour we visited many sights believed to be home to ghosts and spirits. Quite happy to say we did not see any but during Shawn’s narration there was plenty of chills. If this is your sort of thing or just looking for something a bit different I totally recommend Shawn’s Dark Side of Seoul tour 100%. 5.00Shawn was great! He definitely knew his Korean folklore. We visited several locations that were less creepy during the day so it was cool to see them at night (and a little unsettling). He has a knack for storytelling to keep the group engaged and knows when to reveal information!

I did the “Ghostlore and Urban Legends” extended version and it was exactly what I wanted- lots of ghost encounter stories as well as interesting folk history. Some seriously spooky encounters!! Shawn is an excellent tour guide and easy to understand. 100% recommend
