A National Park non-resident entry surcharge is required by the park for non-U.S. residents (age 16+). This fee is not collected by Viator and must be paid on the day of the tour if applicable. Valid U.S. ID or passport may be requested
Tour will be cancelled if Minimum of 3 participants is not met - we will notify you by 8pm the night before and you will be refunded.

3.00Don’t take this tour if you want to hike longer trails. The road to Moro Rock was closed so the tour guide said we didn’t have time to see the rock or hike the Congress Trail instead. If you have a car, the road is in good condition and has lots of areas to pull off the road but lots of curves. In retrospect, we could see the sites by ourselves and spend more time hiking. Our guide , Scott, was knowledgeable, especially about the Black Bears and forest biology. The description of the trip said we would all receive the Sequoia seeds but he said only one per group signed up together.

5.00Alysia’s personal touch and easy-going manner were magnetic and put us immediately at ease! She was upfront about wanting to make this fun for us. She made an effort to get to know us, and also shared a little of her story. Her passion for learning about and protecting the environment is evident. She has a deep respect for how we can journey with nature, rather than attempting to control it, and her choice of words reflect that approach. She's very informed and knowledgeable. The tour of Sequoia NP was made more pleasant as she did all the driving up the VERY windy roads and kept us entertained and distracted with stories and facts. I appreciated her sense of humor and authenticity. She had no problem cracking jokes and laughing at herself. And she gave us options along the way -- as the rest of the group went to look at Hospital Rock, she encouraged me to go down to the river. Alysia also made sure to create an immersive experience -- she led us into a huge log and encouraged us to sit in silence and imagine hibernating there. And when the fog rolled in, she gently redirected the humanly selfish perspective by saying, “I'm sort of sorry, but also glad you’re getting to see this because the trees are loving this fog right now.”

5.00Paul was our tour guide and he was the best! He made our day the most informative and enjoyable day! It was like a friend driving us on the tour and he didn’t mind us asking questions. We got to see a lot of the park with exquisite views and historical landmarks. Everyone should do this at least once!
