Aboard our comfortable and luxurious 4x4 Ford Raptor truck, we will take you to the highest points of the mountains that surround the Crater of Sete Cidades with maximum comfort and safety.
There, you will have breathtaking views over the lagoons and dormant volcanoes (if the weather is good).
Our guides will always be happy to answer your questions about the island and show you the most fantastic places, some of them, only accessible with all-terrain vehicles.

Wide view over the mountains of the Massif of Sete Cidades and north and south sides of the island.
Muro Das Nove Janelas
Near Serra Devassa, there is the Muro das Nove Janelas, an aqueduct considered a heritage site of historical value.

Great half day tour of the west end of the island

5.00Great overall tour of the west end of the island. Felipe was an excellent guide. Was easy to find him and communication was great. He took us in his 4x4 truck around the rim of the crater for some awesome views. The dirt road was very rough in places and not suited if you have back issues. We then drove to a village and to Sete Cidades where we stopped for a restroom break and snacks if we wanted to purchase. Continued the drive around the lake and across the bridge and stopped at a few more viewpoints on our way back to town. He offered to drop us off back at the ship or in town if we liked. Would recommend, the only thing missing was the bright sunny skies that would have given us the blue and green colors of the lakes.

5.00Filipe was fantastic! Right on time, exactly where he said he would be. We sat out in his really nice truck with his informative but not boring commentary. We went at a nice pace usually staying just ahead of the crowd. Saw many great sights and stopped for a coffee and tart at a nice little place then headed back to the ship. The day was just perfect and you should not hesitate booking this tour. We really enjoyed Filipe and his knowledge. Thank you for a great day!

5.00Filipe is a great guide with lots of knowledge, the vehicle is clean and comfortable. He did a great job explaining the history and answering any questions I had. One thing to note: if you are easily nauseous in cars, this may not be for you, as the roads have a lot of hairpins, with lots of ups and downs, conbined with rough terrain.

5.00This was a fantastic private tour in a 4x4 pickup. Guide was local and very knowledgeable. Safe driver. Took us to the best locations for viewing and photographs. Time well spent with memories to cherish. We booked this tour instead of a cruise tour and did not regret it. Thanks Felipe!!
