Absolutely superb Gin Experience. Both our guides James and Claire were outstanding presenters, full of genuine enthusiasm, a nice touch of humour and very convincing. The gin was pretty good too, particularly 'Stratford Dry'. Some members of our party stayed on to go around again with the next tour which probably says it all. On a different tack, the background to them setting up this now highly successful enterprise in such a competitive environment is fascinating . I am not sure I would have the gumption, but I could learn a lot from here.

Fantastic, from the warm welcome to the fantastic tour and tasting. The team were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and professional in the delivery of their product. Excellent value for money all round and opened my eyes experiences of a non gin drinker and to rum which I do enjoy. Definitely bought some rum from the shop on site and would recommend a visit here five star. Thank you 😊😊

Really enjoyed this tour. It was bought as a Christmas present for us. We stayed in Stratford for 2 nights, and went over on the Saturday morning for the 11.00 tour. Chris gave us a lovely talk about the history of Gin and how Shakespeare Distillery came into being, Then we were taken to the distillery for a very good explanation from Sam about Gin and Rum distilling and production, including the barrels and the bottling. Next came the tasting room, which was good fun as we were there with other couples and a group of ladies. We learnt a lot about how to mix gin with tonic waters, the ratios and the different flavours of tonic waters with different types of gin. There was a chance to taste rum as well if we wanted to, and then finally a glass of gin and tonic or rum with tonic. I would definitely recommend this tour especially if you are on a weekend away in Stratford.

We enjoyed the distillery tour so much. It is a small distillery so the tour takes place across 4 rooms, however the staff are extremely knowledgeable and present the information in an engaging and entertaining manner. The tasting experience was fab and we learnt a lot, and the gin tastes delicious. We enjoyed having a drink afterwards and the gift shop was really reasonably priced. We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely fantastic and educational. Sam was great in his delivery of his explanation of the distilling process of both gin and rum. Fascinating. Sarah, I think her name was and apologise if it wasn't, gave us an excellent historical background to gin and then gave us an very good tasting session. I would thoroughly recommend this.

We were given 2 tickets for the distillery and decided use them on our Anniversary....What a great gift. We arrived early enough to purchase a drink to enjoy while Claire told us all about the history of Gin. It was great. She is very enthusiastic and witty. Then on to Gin Lane to learn about the distilling process. This will make you appreciate why cheap gins are cheap and why it's worth having good one. The guy that explained the the distilling and bottling process was very knowledgeable. ( Sorry I can't remember your name I think I might have appreciate my gin too much by then..but you know who you are so thankyou😁) On too the tasting. This was really well thought out and executed. We had a great time and would like to thank all the staff as you are so good at what you do. I would recommend this to anyone that fancies a treat or a gift for a friend. Brilliant experience. Thank you all for making our anniversary special. Deb and Mark from Yardley 🥂

Really informative tour - included history of gin, an insight to the processes, and of course the beloved tasting session. The gin is clearly high quality - even my non-expert taste got the clarity of the taste - though I confess it was actually a bottle of rum that I went home with...

The best distillery tour I have ever done! The hosts of the tour were super friendly and knowledgeable and really made everyone feel at home. The whole package is really good value for money as you get to taste a lot of gin (or rum) and get to enjoy a full size drink of your favourite as well receiving discount in the shop. The spiced tropical rum is probably going to be my new favourite drink - it is delicious! 100% visiting again for the gin school & may well be my new favourite brand.

Fantastic tour, staff were amazing and really interesting to learn not only about the process for producing gin and rum, but also about the history of gin, also good to see behind the scenes into the packaging process The tasting session was fab, really well explained and great to get some tips on mixers, garnish and even amount of ice ! All the gins and rums we tried were amazing, and you can see how using only the best bit of the 'heart' gives their drinks such a great taste. One other point, we didn't realise that they had barista coffee to enjoy before, great way to start before the tour And they have shop but make point that you're under no obligation to buy....but once you've had a taste of their gins and rums there is no way you'll come away empty handed !!!
