What To Expect
Scenic drive & Takhtakaracha Pass Depart Samarkand and travel through the Zarafshan Mountains. Stop at Takhtakaracha Pass for panoramic views and photo-opportunities. "On the way back, we can make an optional stop to taste the famous local dish 'Tandoor,' where lamb is deliciously cooked in a traditional clay oven in the mountains!"

5.00It was as good as it could be. The driver was very kind and flexible, so we could choose the rythm of our excursion. We made it in 5 hours, instead of the 6 hours scheduled but it was our choice and we were fully satisfied. Thanks again to the driver who accompany us all along the visit (without guide)

5.00We really enjoyed the tour. The guide was excellent and had great English and great knowledge of the history, culture and flora and fauna of Uzbekistan. Getting out of Samarkand and the main tourist sites was a nice change - most of the other visitors to the site were Uzbeks.

5.00This tour was absolutely perfect. The city is a must see and this is the easiest way. They car was super comfortable and the driver was very smooth and safe. Our guide was outstanding. She explained us a lot about the history and the culture of the country and now we understand everything fantastically. The lunch amazing, the spots amazing, very easy to start and finish it. Basically 10/10 Do it, you will not regret it.

5.00Amin was an incredible guide and host!! He has deep knowledge of Uzbek history & culture — and we even had the opportunity to try great local food & tea on the mountain side. I highly recommend this tour — it was an enjoyable day steeped in history and fresh mountain air!
