What To Expect
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet up your friendly private guide at your hotel lobby in the morning or afternoon based on your preferred schedule. Transferred by comfortable vehicle to Zhujiajiao, a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Upon arrival, stroll along the old street and traditional market where you will find many interesting vendors and local specialties. You will also find the best known bridges, built during Ming and Qing Dynasties. Take a relaxing boat ride in the water canals, and your friendly private guide will share with you the history and story of the area. After the tour, your guide will send you back to the hotel in Shanghai city.

5.00My day with Kalvin was seamless. He picked me up in my hotel and we drove to. Zhujiajiao. He is from Shanghai and had so many details to share about the city, the people, the culture and how it’s changed over the years. The tour of the Watertown was very informative, a relaxed pace and a lovely lunch. It incorporated all of the highlights and the boat ride was lovely. A great day, so much so I booked another tour with Kalvin this week.

5.00Caroline was a fantastic tour guide for our visit to Zhujiajiao Water Town. The boat ride was beautiful and a real highlight, and her tour of the local shops and eateries was excellent. She communicated clearly, was very organised, and was incredibly helpful and patient with our two young children. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend her.

5.00Snow was our tour guide and Mr. Qi was our driver for this fascinating tour to the Venice of the East. The hour-long drive to water village was bery comfortable in a very modern and new eletric van. We very mich liked the tour in the Kechi Gardens. Snow patiently explained the history of the various pavilions and took amy of our pictures. Snow then yook us on the famous gondola ride on our way to lunch. Lunch at a local restaurant featured delicious local dishes. Snow then broight us to the local village visiting many retail shops, food stalls and souvenir shops. It was a very enjoyable tour. We wete brought safely back to our hotel.
