Enjoy short get away from Shanghai city to beautiful Zhujiajiao Water Town where you can explore the classic Chinese buildings and to take a relax boat ride along the water canals. This half-day private tour can be started either in the morning or afternoon, and all entrance fee, private guide and transfer service are inclusive. You also can upgrade your tour with lunch or dinner to experience the local cuisine upon booking.

What To Expect
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet up your friendly private guide at your hotel lobby in the morning or afternoon based on your preferred schedule. Transferred by comfortable vehicle to Zhujiajiao, a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Upon arrival, stroll along the old street and traditional market where you will find many interesting vendors and local specialties. You will also find the best known bridges, built during Ming and Qing Dynasties. Take a relaxing boat ride in the water canals, and your friendly private guide will share with you the history and story of the area. After the tour, your guide will send you back to the hotel in Shanghai city.

5.00Judy was a wonderful guide. She met us at the lobby of our hotel and got us to Zhujiajiao via a private car ride. She was very thorough in her explanation of everything about Zhujiajiao and even patiently answered all our questions about Shanghai. She introduced us to local cuisine, gave us photo opportunities along the tour, and advices on where to go visit in Shanghai afterwards. It was a great and relaxing experience.

5.00Wow- Caroline was amazing, easy to understand, and really did everything she could to make this an enjoyable tour. From a smooth pickup/car ride, to an informative tour (with lots of photo ops), and ending the day with some local cuisine, we couldn’t have asked for more!

Kalvin had many years experience as a guide and had an incredible depth of fascinating knowledge. 5.00Xin was the absolute best. Full of knowledge and information about Watertown. Incredibly warm and friendly. We went to a wonderful place to eat lunch. Could not have asked for a better experience for me and my daughter. I highly recommend the tour and particularly Xin as your guide

5.00Had a great time at our own pace, guided by Snow. We enjoyed the tour as a family and was able to go along at our pace. Snow is very knowledgeable in details about Shanghai and very engaging. She gave us good insight about the Ma Garden and guided us well through the town. She engaged with our Kids and they were also able to enjoy the tour and Zhoujiajiao town Recommend visiting during the afternoon since, the town is nice with the lights on.
