Tour guide spoke good English. However, he wasn’t personable at all. Didn’t try to get to know anyone on the tour. No charisma. Bus was clean and driver drove safely. No complaints there. Generous 5 star review normally this would be 4.

Yaxha is calmer , cooler and less big than Tikal. 3-4 hours is perfect to walk around the temples and some you can climb up and in. Great place to see monkeys , toucans and hear howler monkeys. Loved the ease of the walking . Beautiful lake spot and great wildlife. Take water . Super quiet with few tourists.

This was a good tour, but would be great with fewer people. Too many on the bus made the long drive uncomfortable, too many on the boat was a safety hazard and too many on the narrow trails made it impossible for the guide - who was very good - to be heard by everyone.

The park is very nice and huge. There are several restored buildings which are amazing. And, it is also possible to observe toucans and hear howler monkeys.

I really loved this trip. I'm thinking it was perfect to do the day before or after going to Tikal. Yes, the ride band back is very bumpy and annoyingly long but the ruins are so beautiful and it really makes you feel like you are in an Indiana Jones movie. I don't think anyone else was there aside from our group. It was lovely and the sunset ride over the lake was absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite moments in all of my travels in Guatemala. Make sure you bring a portable charger for your phone as walking back is much easier When you have the flashlight on your phone open it will be dark by the time you come back. The only issue I had with this tour was the fact that it said it was 7 hours but it's really more like 9. We left at noon and did not get back until 8:45 p.m.

Majority of the time is spent in the van packed to the brim picking up tourists, stopping for drinks/snacks/ATM, buying tickets to the park plus disrespectful and selfish youngsters wasting time on selfies and food/bathroom breaks. You get MAX 3 hours at the actual park out of your 8 hour day. The van ride there is nothing short of torture (deepest potholes I've ever seen, the 11 km ride just in the park itself takes 25 mins because the road has multiple deep holes). One girl in the group threw up twice on the way back because of the jerky ride. 3 stars for the ruins and sunset.

The sunset tour was great. Got to see monkeys and climb temples. Just great experience all around. The guide was patient and nice. Took his time explaining everything. Still got to the top of temple on time to see sunset!

Our guide was exceptional (forgot his name, took the tour on 8/22). Although it got cloudy right around sunset, overall we enjoyed this tour very much.

I did not know that this would include a boat ride through the lake to a ruin in the jungle then come back to the pyramids this. Was amazing. I really enjoyed myself and the guide was nice. The last pyramid and sun watching was relaxing. I recommend this!
