This tour was amazing! Manuel was really passionate, knowledgeable, and funny. He was also great at spotting wildlife so we were able to see so much.

Good tour even though it was cloudy and we could not see the sunrise. We weren’t advised that we had to bring lunch, but the accompanying guide got us some sandwiches talking to an establishment he knew. I recommend taking it beforehand. The journey is long because the roads are in bad shape, but worth it.

It’s a two hour drive then 45 minutes wasted while we wait to get tickets. Then we wait for all the other buses to show up. It was a bit of a shock with the length of wasted time. After that though, it was an incredible trip! See Tikal AFTER this site though. I did it in the wrong order. You will appreciate this site so much more if you do it first! The guide was great.

Takes about 3 hours to get there. Very bumpy road. You can climb the temples and the view is amazing!

This was a last minute booking with an hour before it started. Speedy transaction with tickets and the driver was there earlier. The guide was great and communicated throughout I woukd recommend packing some food and extra water as it is quite muggy and there was only one chance to buy snacks at a local shop. Cash only, local currency at the ticket office The guide was great, explained a lot of didn't rush. The monkeys were fun and the howler monkeys and experience in themselves. It didn't feel too crowded amd it was a great introduction before Tikal. Great value for money and a great photo opportunity

Tour guide spoke good English. However, he wasn’t personable at all. Didn’t try to get to know anyone on the tour. No charisma. Bus was clean and driver drove safely. No complaints there. Generous 5 star review normally this would be 4.

Yaxha is calmer , cooler and less big than Tikal. 3-4 hours is perfect to walk around the temples and some you can climb up and in. Great place to see monkeys , toucans and hear howler monkeys. Loved the ease of the walking . Beautiful lake spot and great wildlife. Take water . Super quiet with few tourists.

This was a good tour, but would be great with fewer people. Too many on the bus made the long drive uncomfortable, too many on the boat was a safety hazard and too many on the narrow trails made it impossible for the guide - who was very good - to be heard by everyone.
