  Fantastic half day tour with Naari, fantastic and lovely guide. Super knowledgeable, amazing views of Bora Bora from the lagoon, and amazing spots with sting rays, manta rays and black tip sharks swimming right by us / under us - and such an amazing experience letting ourselves drift from the reef to the inner lagoon through the coral garden gazing at the wonderful corals and hundreds and hundreds of different fish swimming right up to us. Topped off by a fruit degustation in coconut shells standing on a sandbank with a view of Mount Otemanu.

  OMG! Manu was our guide, he was absolutely AWESOME! He was so informative, friendly, welcoming, communicative, helpful, and FUN!! We thought we'd booked a full day, not half, he took the time to call and verify on our behalf. Indeed only half day, but he sure made it feel like a full day. This was his turf and it was clear he enjoyed sharing it ! In one of the locations, he dove down with my camera and videotaped an eel hidden in the coral. A video I will have forever now along with the memories of a lifetime in this beautiful place. He took us to multiple spots for snorkeling, swimming, floating and relaxing. His knowledge of the island, it's waters, and the sea life were fantastic. He's also quite the musician, as he serenaded us during a stop along the way. Manu made us smile, laugh, learn and look forward with hopes to come back again to this beautiful place. We were on a cruise ship, and all the shore excursions directly with the ship were booked full. We'd used Viator in the past in Europe, so took the chance with them again, Sooo glad we did ! If you can only book one tour in Bora Bora, make sure it's this one and that Manu is your requested guide !!   We did this excursion as we love excursions/tours that are ran by family owned local operators. This was a fantastic experience top to bottom. Narii is an extremely friendly and helpful tour operator, and his boat is pristine. With the half day lagoon tour we hit three big spots, one for sharks, one for rays, and one for the coral gardens. All three were great stops. Mid trip we also stopped randomly in some deeper water as a large manta ray was spotted and we hopped out to snorkel above it. During the trip Narrii made sure to give tour notes/directions in both French and English, and provided water/juice/beer for his guests. Having a Hinano as we cruised the lagoon in itself was a relaxing and fantastic experience. As we only did the half day, we stopped at his family's property to drop off the full day passengers, who were stopping for their lunch break provided by his wife. While waiting we got to walk around their beach area and were even provided a fresh fruit salad snack, which was an unexpected treat. I highly recommend Narii's cultural tours, you won't be disappointed! And Narri, thank you to you and your family for hosting us!
