Excellent Snorkeling

5.00First they gave us directions to a parking spot right at the beach and were waiting for us. Since the catamaran pulls right up, there is no confusion about where you are going. Immediately, they are right there helping you into the catamaran and getting settled for your day. Once off the beach and the sails are up, drink service starts with a selection of beers and rum punch, among others. Since the day starts early, you will be one of the first boats to arrive at the spot and will see sea turtles and maybe even a ray. Next, you swim right up to a coral reef that is abundant with fish. Keyon even helped get the best pictures for me. He also helped to make sure that I wasn’t getting too far from the action or too close to any approaching boats. The attention to detail was great. The ocean was clear, calm, and warm - absolutely perfect to be in the water. Minimal current made this very relaxing. At the end, you are let off right near a hotel and restaurant so plan to stay a little longer and relax if you want. The beach there is gorgeous. Would highly recommend.

5.00Jason is the owner and he is fantastic. Wonderful experience for our whole family! Jason is so knowledgeable, friendly m, and a great teacher!! Loved snorkeling w the turtles and seeing amazing tropical fish among the reefs! Beautiful sailing experience!

5.00We had a spectacular experience with Shasa this morning. The crew are great, easy to talk to and very helpful. The vessel is comfortable and the pick up at our condo rental made the experience so easy. We saw turtles and so many fish at the coral Reef. Highly recommend!

5.00Family group of 6 did the 3-hour private cruise with Jason and crew and it was a fabulous day! We started early so we could swim with the turtles before the other boats arrived which was a great suggestion by Jason, great cruising/sailing along the west coast and then another snorkelling stop with plenty of fish on an artificial reef. Great company, good music and just a few rum punches 🤪. Highly recommend,

5.00Captain Jason and Kiyon were fantastic. They are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The snorkeling and turtles are not to be missed and the team delivers on not only the turtles but the coral reef and tropical fish. We forgot towels which are not included in the experience so remember to bring the towels. That said, the warm breeze dried us off plenty so it was a small inconvenience.

5.00A fabulous day with my teenage children. This is the second time we have sailed with Jason but used Shasa 2 this time. Jason is professional, knowledgeable and a great sailor. We definitely did not feel like tourists. Highly recommended and will do it again. A big thanks to Jacob as crew too. A gray team.

5.00We have visited Barbados several times and we have sailed with Shasa Catamaran Cruises many times. Captain Jason and first mate Jonathon are simply the best that is out there which is why we keep coming back - 12 years on! We have sailed with other companies so we do have a comparison and they are in a whole different league. You will not be disappointed. From the moment you step aboard, you can expect a very warm welcome and of course a lovely ice cold rum punch! Jason and Jonathon will take you away from the hustle and bustle of destinations visited by the masses for a far more exclusive experience. We had THE most incredible time swimming with the beautiful turtles, my absolute passion. Jonathon comes in the water with you and feeds them so you can watch from up close. these incredible creatures. We then sailed on to explore a ship wreck which has an incredible number of fish around it. Such a relaxing, exciting, memory making afternoon. We have some brilliant GoPro footage to treasure these memories - until the next time ... one thing is for certain, we will be back and we will be sailing with Shasa again. 100% recommend you look into sailing with Jason and Jonathon.

5.00On 2/27/20 the 6 of us were given the best day in Barbados on the Catamaran Shasta II. Captain Jason and first mate Jonathan were wonderful. 8 total on the 5 hour cruise. You will not be disappointed booking Shasta.

5.00I can't rate Jason and Jonathan highly enough. They looked after us beautifully from the moment we met them. They took us to a much quieter swim stop for the turtles and reef. Lunch was fabulous. It was so much nicer to have a smaller catamaran to sail in, wouldn't hesitate to book with them. Thank you guys.
